Great environment for a week night dinner. I had the vegan nduja pizza and garlic bread. Both were so tasty. Homemade lemonade was very good too. Service was friendly and quick. Dog friendly inside.

Restaurant has a great rustic, relaxing vibe with an Italian feel and open kitchen to view all the action in the kitchen. Team are friendly, helpful and attentive. Menu prices are what you would expect, averaging around £10-15 per pizza. Would highly recommend the lemonade/strawberry drink- delicious but a tad pricey, limited beer options but something for everyone. Pizzas are a great size (larger than the average plate) you won't go hungry! Beautifully home cooked base! The menu perhaps needs a little extending, as there is No Chicken! pizza to my personal disappointment or feta/goats cheese/basil option or similar. So if your a little fussy like myself, check the menu first. Overall, its great place!

Not what I was expecting. I heard only good thinks about and I was curious how it is but is quite disappointing. My pizza was alright (ish) ( a few mushrooms, a few pieces of proscuito, and 2 artichokes) but my husband pizza it was undercooked

We've been back to Rudys several times now. Friendly staff, great ambience and lovely pizzas. I will say on the latest visit, the base wasn't quite as crispy as usual, but nonetheless, they were really good. The kids absolutely love this place so I'm sure we'll be back soon!

Cold pizzas and poor service. The place wasn’t even busy, staff weee more bothered about talking amongst themselves rather than checking whether we wanted drinks, waited 10 minutes after being seated before anyone attended to us. When the pizzas arrived, they were like warm at best and the triple pepperoni ones tasted (dessert level) sweet. The whole experience was poor from start to finish.

Visited here in early February. Hadn’t booked but they squeezed us in. It was busy for a mid week early evening. We had quite a wait for the pizza but didn’t mind as we were chatting. Therefore we didn’t bring it to the staff’s attention, The pizzas & salads came & all were delicious. We are both very picky about our pizzas & found they were perfect. When we came to pay our bill the young lady who brought it said “I apologise for your wait & have credited your bill accordingly”. We were both amazed & mentioned that we hadn’t complained. The young lady said “I noticed & didn’t want it to spoil your visit.” This was such a kind gesture & made us want to visit again.

Avoid this place, the staff look scruffy and the management spend to much time flicking hair talking about the customers. I’m disgusted. Food took over an hour, no apology Drinks order wrong Bill wrong The place is ran by kids and chefs wiping noses and then topping pizzas. It used to be good here obviously another change in management. Would give them my money again.

We popped into rudys for lunch, it was around 3:30/4, the lady barely greeted us, unfortunately I didn’t get her name, she was blonde wearing a green jumper, a non English accent. She was so offish with us for no reason and made us feel like we were completely in the way because we asked for a specific table as we had a large pram with a 5 week old baby. We asked to sit at the back on the bench’s she said no as there was apparently a table of 18 reserved… turned out it was only a table of 9 people, she just didn’t want to say yes to our request. The restaurant was literally empty and she made us feel like such a nuisance. She didn’t offer to help get the pram up the steps, rudely took our order and just made our presence in general feel like a hassle to her, clearly there weren’t even other customers for her to even serve!? When we asked for the bill there was a very friendly young male who took our payment. When we left the restaurant she didn’t even help us with the pram and watched us struggle down the step, didn’t say thank you or goodbye. I can’t believe how rude and miserable she was, if you are that unhappy with your job, look for another job. The pizza in general was delicious so my bad review is simply on her service.
