FAQ
Common questions about OpenPizzaMap. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Write to [email protected].
How do you choose which pizzerias to list?
Every place is hand-picked or submitted by the community and reviewed before it’s published. We don’t bulk-import directories or automatically add any restaurant with a Google listing. If you think a great spot is missing, use the “Add your spot” form on the map page.
How do I add a place?
Click “Add your spot” on the map. Fill in the name, city, and a Google Maps link. We’ll review it within a few days and publish if it meets our criteria.
How does the rating work?
Each place shows a composite rating blended from available sources — Google, TripAdvisor, and Yelp — weighted by review count. We also show the individual source ratings so you can judge for yourself. See it in action on Italy’s top pizzerias.
Are you affiliated with any restaurant?
No. We have no commercial relationship with any pizzeria on the map. We don’t accept payments for placement and we don’t sell advertising. Learn more about how we work.
Is OpenPizzaMap free to use?
Yes, completely free. The site costs money to run and we don’t monetize it. If you want to support it, explore the map and tell a fellow pizza lover about it.
