If you love deep-dish pizza, check out this place. We wanted to try it, based on a friend's recommendation, but we have settled on the fact that we do not like deep-dish pizza. The appetizer (see picture) had too much Parmesan, overshadowing all the other flavors, so it was okay. The pizza did not stick with me or have any flavors that popped out that left me amazed. Everything was just good.

This is the pizzeria where deep-dish pizza was invented. Naturally, we couldn't miss the opportunity to visit it. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the pizza was delicious and filling. We took most of it back to the hotel with us. The staff was polite and efficient. We will definitely visit it again as soon as we are in Chicago.

Got the Numero Uno personal size. Very bad. The dough was undercooked and the toppings on top were literally raw. I had to look for the cheese in this. The whole thing was just put together half hazardly. My stomach started hurting after one slice. Had to get the rest packed and bake it in my house again. Third picture is from Pequod’s Pizza. Look at the char on the crust and the beautiful fresh cheese. Save your time and go to Pequod’s instead.

We ordered their famous pizza I ordered one with pepperoni and italian beef and my wife ordered the plain one The portions are very big ! I didnt finish mine So be aware when you order Also the pizza take roughly 45 min to be prepared For our taste the pizzas wasn’t great, too much tomato, too much sauces, but Its just the personal taste, since the ingredients were obviously well prepared. On top of all that, the staff were very friendly and also warned us that we took too much food (but we didnt listen to them) If u like those flavors, u should try it, but for me it wasn’t that good, but again, its my personal taste, the food itself didnt have any issues

What can I say other than heaven on earth? I will never be able to eat pizza the same way again after trying their deep dish. The sausage was an excellent choice too. Highly recommend for that authentic Chicago pizza experience!

Visited Chicago for the first time in May and wanted to try deep dish pizza. Pizzeria Uno does individual size portions which was ideal as i was on my own. The pizza takes about 30 minutes to make so don't expect it in a hurry but it's worth the wait. It has a lovely pastry like crust. I got lots of toppings which meant there wasn't much room for cheese, i would recommend getting fewer toppings so there is more cheese in there to make it even more tasty. The service was also friendly and attentive

I went to lunch with my husband and we took the opportunity to try the famous deep dish pizza. It was wonderful! Great food, a very pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service from our waitress!

I visited here with my cousin who wanted to come here instead of the pizzeria I wanted to go to. I let him choose because it was his birthday and he insisted this was his favorite. The deep dish pizza here is good and so was the service, even though it was kind of slow. The guy who waited on us kept acting as if we were tourists, even though my cousin lives in chicago, and I grew up there. Anyway, we ordered the classic pizza and a Ceasar salad for dinner with drinks. If you want deep dish pizza, there are a number of places in the area you can choose. I won't judge any of them since everyone's palate is different.

We have eaten at Pequod’s Pizza, Lou Malnati’s Pizza, Giordano’s and Pizzeria Uno in Chicago. Our 2 favorites are Uno and Pequod’s. The location is centrally located in downtown Chicago. Pros - Order 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni deep dish pizza. Each was well balanced and sauced well (not too much, not too little). - The crust was similar to a pie crust but slightly less flaky. Not too heavy but definitely a dense and filling deep dish pizza and you would expect. - Ingredients tasted fresh. Cons - Each piece is dense and filling - a slice eats like a meal so be careful not to over order on size. Service - We ordered takeout. The server took our order and provided us with plates and cutlery to go.
