This pizza is what dreams are made of. Best I have ever had! I cannot wait to go back! 1st time here on Saturday...drove an hour to dine here. Awesome, friendly service. Ordered the Pizza City Fest. Loved the ricotta dollops. After reading the reviews, I thought the inside was bigger than expected. I would say this pizza is a pan hybrid. I would consider it pan and MAN does it have THE BEST crust. Had fun shopping the frozen section, th meats, and playing slots while waiting for my pizza.

Great joint that doubles as a butcher shop. Best pizza around, and honestly, some of the best pizza period. Menu is small, a salad option and pizza. What more could you want? Dough, sauce, and sausage all made in house. They’ll tell you …

Hands down the best pizza in the area! Ever since Dave gave it a great rating on One Bite, it’s been absolutely packed — and for good reason. You definitely have to plan ahead now if you want to grab a pie, but it’s 100% worth the wait. Perfect crust, great flavor, and that classic neighborhood feel that’s getting harder to find. Uncle Jerry’s really lives up to the hype!

A snowy Tuesday in downtown Cary, Illinois was the perfect night to find the world's best pizza at the warm and cozy Uncle Jerry's. Sauce, crust, cheese, and sausage comprise a pizza made with intention by folks who know exactly what they're doing. Nice bonus to shop the butcher counter while we waited as Joe our server checked in on us. We arrived at 4pm on the dot, got seated right away, and left a packed house! (Oh, and Jerry, if you haven't found a second location yet, please, please, please check out downtown Des Plaines. We're on the same Metra line, and there's a vacancy in a former Leona's across from the station.)

Best pizza in the Chicago suburbs. Gluten free pizza option. Everyone we introduce Jerry's pizza to says the same thing... Amazing pizza!! Order times can be long, so plan ahead. You won't be disappointed.

Jerry "Uncle Jerry" Czerwinski grew up on the North Side of Chicago and loving deep dish pizza from Malnati's or Burt's. Then Jerry and his wife Nancy moved to northwest suburban Cary, in McHenry County, 43 miles from downtown Chicago. They loved everything about their new town except it was an hour from their favorite pizza. So the opened their own pizza parlor. Now Cary, which was established in 1841 and has been transformed from a farm to a small town (population: 17,875) to a great place to ski in the winter, has something else to be proud of. Located at 133 West Main Street, Uncle Jerry's Pizza Company features a very limited menu...house salads and pizza. And there are only a dozen tables, including three high tops. So if you're not ordering delivery or takeout, be sure to come early. Uncle Jerry's is open from 4 to 9 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11 to 10 on Friday and Saturday and 11 to 8 on Sunday. The best seller is Uncle Jerry's original Classic pizza made from his own recipe of home-made dough, tomato sauce and sausage. Other options include Sweet Sting with pepperoni, home-made babanaro infusion and hot honey and Spontaneous Spinach with spinach, garlic and goat cheese. Or, like me, you can make your own pizza, a 14-inch Chicago pan style, with cheese and sausage. With a garden salad of arugula, Romaine lettuce, red onion, cucumber, grape tomatoes and blue cheese dressing. Yes, Uncle Jerry found a home in Cary.

A gastronomic experience that is unforgettable beautiful Pizza absolutely scrumptious made one relish the thought of coming back only top by the pleasant barkeep and the delightful drink drinks. You must go if you like pizza.

Our three-generation family agrees that Uncle Jerry's pizza is worth every $ spent and every mile driven (50+ round trip)! Pepperoni with "hot honey" (both temp and flavor!) is guys' favorite; the ladies like the sausage best. No wonder he got rave reviews from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy who recently scored his pizza an 8.3--maybe best in Illinois?!?

If you are planning on sitting, go early. The line gets long quick. They don't have a lot of tables. But, waiting is worth it. Many want to compare them to Malnati's. Both deep dish, both excellent, they are just different. They have a full liquor bar. Staff is fantastic. been there 3 times, sat up front and watched ALL the take-outs go out the door. As many as 6 with one person. You can make your own or get one of their suggested. GO!
