Good pizza. Thin crust takes about 20-25 minutes to make. They say 18” thin crust feeds 4-5, but we had it cut into squares and easily fed 10 (with sides). $40

They have a wonderful selection of genuine deep dish Chicago style pizza here. The restaurant itself is relatively no frills with a simple dining area. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean.

I didn't have a great time here. First off my food (burger, fries, and a drink) took about 25 minutes to come out. They gave me the wrong fries (regular instead of shoestring), and the "pizza" burger was a joke. I paid $1 extra for one slice of mozzarella and two tablespoons of marinara, no other toppings. It was so sad, and so little flavor. Lastly, this meal of disappointment cost $17. Dont come here, or if you do, don't get the burger.

I ordered wings and pizza for my Super Bowl party of 15 people. The food was delivered right on time and still hot which was great on such a cold day. We ordered 3 XL pizzas and 3 orders of 48 wings prepared in different styles. The pizzas were some of the best I’ve had in Chicago. I’m not even a fan of chicken wings but I couldn’t stop eating the barbecue ones. All of the wings were meaty and delicious. I highly recommend ordering from Bartoli’s. I’m local and I’m excited to dine in soon!

This place is wonderful! It is just about 10 min by bus from Wrigley Field. We left the game early to get here before the dinner rush. This is a nice, small shop. You are greeted by smiling faces and you place your order at the counter. We ordered the deep dish with pepperoni and italian sausage; it took about 25 minutes to get our food. We enjoyed every bite! The cheese pull was amazing! Toppings and sauce were very flavorful. The crust was amazing! Not soggy at all. Will definitely be back next time we are in Chicago!

We were visiting Chicago for the first time and needed to try the pizza. People told us to try the traditional downtown famous locations. Forget that and get your pizza here. We were staying in the Bucktown neighborhood and a quick hop on the bus had us ordering a real treat. The restaurant is a small place with limited seating but was not busy on a Tuesday in August. The staff were super friendly and helped us navigate the menu and ordering. Prices were very reasonable. Note as with all deep dish places be prepared to wait 40 minutes to get your pizza. Note they also serve tavern style thin crust to experience both at the same time. We were not disappointed. Note we have nothing to compare to but this pizza was excellent and has us talking about it days later. I know there is a huge debate on Chicago style pizza. We were almost persuaded by friends that the big guys were best. We're glad we stuck to our research and ended up here for some of the best pizza I've ever eaten.

We just moved into the area and found Bartolis to be a great place to grab a quick bite. They always have slices on the counter for a quick bite when you didn't have time to plan ahead. Both the deep dish and regular pies are delicious and would highly recommend you visit

A popular game in the Chicago media is to rate the top 10 pizza parlors, hot dog stands, barbecue restaurants, ice cream parlors and hamburger joints in the city and suburbs. Many names are familiar. But a new one popped up recently when a food magazine rated Bartoli's Pizzeria's deep dish pizza as the best in town. Bartoli's is new to me. But it shouldn't be. Located at 1955 West Addison Street, at Damen, in the heart of Roscoe Village, with another location at 658 North Ashland in the West Town neighborhood, it also earned a "Best Pizza" award in 2017 and 2019. Credit goes to Brian Tondryk, the owner/founder who opened the restaurant in 2013 and named it after his grandfather Fred Bartoli, who built is own pizza empire. Tondryk picked up the family legacy and perfected his grandfather's recipe. Open from 4 to 9 Monday through Thursday, 11:30 to 10 on Friday and Saturday and 11:30 to 9 on Sunday, it is a brick-walled Italian restaurant offering deep dish and thin crust pizza. Bartoli's speciality is the deep dish with house-made spinach and cheese mix layered on creamy mozzarella and topped with the family's house-made pizza sauce. I don't cater to deep dish pizza so I will let Bartoli's impressive track record of three "Best Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago" awards in the last five years speaks for itself. I have always preferred thin crust pizza and Bartoli's large cheese and sausage version, with fresh mozzarella and house-made tomato sauce, is one of the best I've tasted.

This was without doubt the best deep dish pizza I ever ate. No exaggeration. I ordered, was informed deep dish takes about 35 minutes, sat down in a socially distance table and chatted the time away. The pizza arrived on time, smelled out of this world and tasted better then I could imagine. The crust was baked to a perfect golden brown, the sauce had a perfect balance of spicy and sweetness and the toppings were of high quality. I was in Chicago waiting for my train to NYC and so glad I went. I wish I could order a pie now in NYC!
