Couldn't leave Chicago without trying my brother's all time fav deep dish pizza place! Everything was fresh, cooked perfectly, and the crust-- the crust was on point! Nothing undercooked, edges a little crispy. Absolutely delicious true authentic deep dish from the heart of downtown. The atmosphere was old school authentic charm and we had a great time!

You can't lose with any of the menu selections here. Sandwiches, pizza, the pasta- everything is delicious. One thing I love is the sausage and peppers. It's not on the menu but if you ask nice they might make it for you There are always sports going on the many TV's and the atmosphere is usually quite lively. All the bartenders are great but you especially want to go on nights Yolanda (Yo) is working. They make great cocktails and Wednesday is Wine Wednesday with half off bottles. You can never go wrong with the Chianti. The place is only about two blocks from the Bean down Madison St. Stop here for one and then go see the Bean or vice versa. Either way it's a great afternoon especially in spring and summer. The only complaint I have about the place is on a quiet night the soundtrack in the bar makes you feel like you're an extra in the movie Goodfellas...

A flavor of it's own. The first true Chicago deep dish pizza I have had. The crust was sturdy and yeasty with the toppings flavorful and fresh while not being too acidic. The toasted ravioli as well as cheesy garlic bread were just right as well!

Pizano’s is one of those Chicago places that rocks the Old-school Chicago memorabilia everywhere, and it just Feels alive. Staff was friendly, just not always around when you need them. I’ve had the pizza here, so I knew what I was getting. It’s fine. Nothing bad, nothing mind-blowing, It's a 5/10 for me. So this time I switched it up and ordered the wings. And yeah. That was the move. The wings were honestly perfect. Crispy and crunchy on the outside, juicy inside. Hot, but not “why did I do this” hot. Sauce tasted between Louisiana and buffalo-ish, but more towards Louisiana to me. Tangy and savory, just right. I kept going back for one more, until I was done. I’d come back just for those wings, no question. Pizza’s alright. But the wings stole the night.

I came in for a late night dinner, and I was really impressed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. As I was by myself, I sat at the bar and got direct bar service by a friendly lady, which made the experience more personal. I ordered the Woo Woo cocktail which was very tasty, along with a small Meat lover deep dish pizza. This was my first ever Chicago deep dish, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, for me personally I couldn’t finish it due to its size, but that just made it good value! All in all, I had a fantastic experience!

Food and service was average. I used a gift card to pay for dinner. Waitress told me it would only take $100 off and it was $150 gift card. So we paid rest in cash and tip $55. When went to use card again was told only $23 left on it. The amount of bill was completely authorized $126.84. I Called and spoke with manager. Apologized and said would direct to management and I would receive call but never got any follow up or money back!!! Disappointed and won’t go back.

Fantastic place to go to if your after a traditional deep dish Chicago pizza. Great decor venue, great staff - happy, friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is very Italian traditional which goes so very well with the traditional food. Great place - highly recommended.

My husband and I just moved here and had delivery and we were shocked by the pizza. It was a Hawaiian pizza and it was horrendous. I’ve never met a pizza didn’t like but wow! The crust had tiny perforations in a pattern and wasn’t even made of real pizza dough. It hardly even had any cheese. All the cheese came off in one bite. There was almost no Canadian bacon and it was undercooked with a lot more pineapple than bacon. Jarred grocery store sauce is better. It was cut in tittle squares. Trust me. It’s horrible.

Really good experience at Pizano’s. This was my first time trying Chicago deep dish and it did not disappoint. I ordered online and walked over from my hotel to pick it up. The host was very friendly and had my drinks and pizza ready right away. I appreciated that the to go Diet Cokes were large 16oz cans, which was a nice touch. I ordered a small pepperoni and jalapeño deep dish and it was excellent. I would definitely come back.
