Had a great experience at Pizz’amici. Everything we ordered was well executed and clearly made with care. The pepperoni pizza had a crisp, flavorful crust and great balance between sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. The eggplant was cooked perfectly, tender inside with a light crisp on the outside. The focaccia was airy, buttery, and full of herbs — exactly how it should be. The meatballs tasted freshly ground and well seasoned. The Caesar salad was fresh and balanced, and the burrata was rich and creamy. The olive oil served with it was high quality and really stood out. Overall, the food felt intentional and thoughtfully prepared. Would definitely come back.

What a gem! If you love tavern pizza and a connoisseur, then you would love this pizza! My favorite is classic cheese pizza. I always say the first time eating at a pizzeria You gotta get a cheese pizza to taste the sauce, the dough and the cheese. We started with there House made Focaccia bread hands down top three Focaccia in Chicago it's a must get when you come here!! It's come's with ferrarini Italian butter, maldon sea salt phenomenal my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Pizza came out fresh and hot Cut in classic Chicago style squares Super thin crispy crust( Chicago tavern style) came out very fast maybe 10 minutes. I favor more acidic sauces over sweet. The sauces was on point for me. You could also tell they use good brand cheese and fresh mozzarella. Their service was on point from the hostess to the server very attentive and respectful and fast. I would definitely come back and try multiple different pizzas. I definitely recommend you get here early to avoid to be in the back of the guarantee line!! You could also make a reservation. The building is small, not too many table I always recommend to go before they open. 100 % recommend!!

Really good atmosphere and service. The focaccia is amazing and honestly would return just for that. The caesar salad is also a must try, wasn’t a fan of the sardines on top as garnish but some may like. Pizza was good. I do wish toppings were a bit less pricy as I’m sure it would’ve tasted better with more.

Took quite a while to get a reservation here. It's popular enough to still require about a month lead time, even for weekdays. Obviously with the hype and reviews, wanted to give it a try. The menu is simple, one size and style of pizza, all you pick are toppings. There seems to be a resurgence of interest in Chicago thin crust with this spot as the latest focusing on this style. We ordered three with a variety of toppings to get a good sample. While it was good, definitely thin and crispy, I don't think it matches the reputation. This spot, and middlebrow as another example, are caricatures of the style. The crust is barely there, it's an extreme version of the older classic spots in the city. Toppings were good, the sauce was a bit light, hard to pick up the flavor. The starters were pretty good, especially the Caesar salad. For dessert the gelato was also quite tasty. Service was ok, and if you eat in person, be ready for a very loud room. At this price I would prefer to go to one of the classic places twice for the same spend.

Walked in here on a Friday early around 5 and got a window table. It was such a cute date spot within the restaurant for me and my wife. It reminded me of an old school vibe with the little curtains. People talk about the wait or line, just go and try to get in. We did and it worked. This place is worth the hype. I couldn’t stop eating the pizza. We had mushroom, jp hot gard, and sausage. Started with the caesar salad. That was a huge salad and very fresh. Ended it with the tri ice cream. All under $75 for a date of 2 people. Best tavern I’ve had in Chicago. Very thin and crispy. Undercarriage is perfect. Good work 💯
