  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding pizza at Circa 900! As someone that was born and bread in Italy and with years of hospitality background I can honestly say their pizza is right up there with what you’d find in Naples. The dough, the ingredients, and the balance of flavours were spot on. What really impressed us was the gluten-free base for my wife — it was so good she genuinely couldn’t tell the difference. That’s incredibly rare to find. The service was also fantastic. The owner personally came to check on us a couple of times to make sure everything was perfect, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming and authentic. If you’re looking for proper Neapolitan-style pizza in Melbourne, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back.

  Hubby was craving for wood fire pizza so Google provided a list. We decided this place because of ‘inconsistent’ reviews (we’re positive-minded people 😆). We’re glad we did 😍 Staff were patient, friendly and gave good recommendations. Maybe we were early, the ambience was comfortable. The pizzas were flavourful and with delicious crusts ‘burnt’ and fluffed just right 😍 If you like spice, ask for their chilli flakes! 💪 Hubby scored them 8/10 for taste, quality, value and location (near home). Will definitely return to try other flavours 😍

  We had a fantastic experience at Circa 900! The pizza was delicious—authentic and full of flavor—and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. What really stood out was the warm and friendly service; the staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone craving great pizza in a relaxed setting. We'll definitely be coming back!

  We came here because the pizzas were awarded #1 Pizzeria in Melbourne (2025): (Awarded by Good Food Friends- whoever they are) and because the pizzas looked great in the photos. Tried the lasagna for starters and it was very good. The front of house service was also very good. Unfortunately, the pizzas were not as good as expected. I had a Capricciosa pizza which tasted ok but the ingredients were disproportionately placed on the pizza and the result of that is that some of the ham and some of the mushroom were not cooked and some were not. The 6 pieces of olives halves were also in one little bundle on one side. This tells me that the pizza makers were in too much of a hurry when preparing the pizza because there wasn't an even spread of the toppings. Some might think this is harsh or ridiculous but this is an important aspect of pizza making so that the toppings can cook evenly. I doubt I would go back because there are plenty of other pizza places that do it better.

  We ordered delivery on 14th February at 8pm. Order was accepted and I received a notification that it would arrive at 912pm. I received a few texts saying my order was ready for delivery but by 10pm when it had still not showed up, I called the restaurant. I was told that the food was ready but DoorDash drivers were relied on and the driver had basically left and not come back. I found it unusual that no one bothered to call and notify me. We spoke to Tony who said they could remake the pizzas and deliver in around 30 mins. At around 1045pm and still no food, I went outside to see if anyone was approaching. Luckily I came across Tony who was a bit lost out on the street, but had the pizzas. The pizzas themselves were nice, but to wait close to 3 hours without much recognition of the inconvenience or that this wasn’t really acceptable was pretty disappointing. On that basis I’d think twice about buying from here again.

  We ordered the polenta chips and it was amazing. The sauce that came with the dish was very nice. Coffees and the tiramisu was just absolutely devine. We continue to keep coming back. Such lovely service and food, we love you Tony.

  Had Dinner at this amazing restuarant. The service was very freindly and the food was fantastic. The pizza base was light crunchy and fluffy at the same time and the ingrediants were fresh. I cant wait to dine there again!

  Other than 2 former employees, the restaurant has recently changed hands. It once was an authentic pizzeria owned by a family from Naples Italy. It's obvious that the new owner has chosen another path for this restaurant and has no background in the authentic nature of what he has bought. I used to write rave reviews about this restaurant in the past, but that doesn't apply now! The fact my stomach was on fire after dinner, tells me the method of preparation and ingredients has already changed. I lived extensively in Naples Italy, my family originates from there. This is no longer an authentic pizzeria napoletana, it's just a woodfired pizza restaurant. I won't be back!

  We have been searching for proper napoli style pizza in Melbourne for some time. We have found it here. The quality of ingredients is outstanding and cooked in the traditional way.. Thank you Circa 900.

  We went to Circa 900 as part of a family birthday celebration. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, especially as we had 6 children with us. The pizzas were great, plenty of different types to try, crust was light and puffy around the edges, yum! Thankyou
