Great experience at 400 Gradi Brunswick. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waitress was very experienced and incredibly accommodating with the kids — she even brought out colouring for them, which made a big difference. She kept checking in to make sure we were all good. It was a bit on the pricey side ($35 for a gnocchi portion), but that may just be the going rate these days. Overall, a really nice dining experience.

Beautiful meal, friendly, attentive and accommodating service. Had a delicious Tricolore cocktail. I like gin Martinis so it really hit the spot; it was quite savoury like a dirty Martini. Mushroom pappardelle was perfectly cooked, creamy, shroomy and twirling one wide strand for each mouthful was so satisfying. Margherita pizza was also fabulous, thin but not too thin (I hate a pizza that cannot support its own toppings), silky cheese and perfect tomato sugo. We started with the Beef carpaccio - also faultless, beautifully balanced and the fried capers a surprise texture and flavour with the tender, paper thin beef. Our waitress was a sweetheart with a beautiful Italian accent. We plan to return for a family birthday celebration, or probably next time we're in the area! Thank you for a memorable dinner!

Bought the $65pp chef selection 'Feed Me' menu. They brought out 4 X entrees, Pizzas, Pastas, Salad, Calamari, Dessert... The food tasted awesome. Well worth it. Customer service was excellent. They brought out new bowls and cutlery after each part of the meal. Atmosphere was pleasant. Soft relaxing music in the background so that you could still hear yourself talk. Best Italian restaurant I've been to.

I am a loyal 400 Gradi customer at both the Crown Melbourne and Essendon locations; however, this was my first time ordering from the Brunswick location. I placed an order for a pizza, which took over an hour to arrive due to repeated delays. During this time, I contacted the store and offered to pay extra for chilli oil and Parmesan cheese on the side. The staff member explicitly confirmed that this request could be accommodated. When the pizza finally arrived, it was missing both the Parmesan cheese and chilli oil that had been confirmed. As shown in the attached photo, I have added my own chilli and the pizza was dry, poorly prepared, and not even cut. Given the excessive wait time, this level of quality and attention to detail is unacceptable. I have placed over 50 orders with 400 Gradi via Uber Eats alone, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. I am requesting a full refund or an appropriate resolution for this order. I would appreciate confirmation of how this matter will be addressed.

Disappointing experience for our family Mother’s Day dinner. Though the food was good, and the service pleasant, the seating arrangement was a disaster. The atmosphere was chaotic. We were seated in a very noisy spot between two large parties. Despite 2 tables coming vacant in a quieter area, and we asking three different servers to move us, we were told nothing could be done. The 2 tables stayed vacant till the time we left. We stayed to avoid a scene, but the stress of the environment resulted in a massive migraine for me. It’s a shame, as the quality of the meal didn't make up for the lack of comfort. We won't be returning. 0/5 stars for the experience tonight.

First evening in Melbourne after 20 plus hours of travel and comfort food equals a walk down Lygon Street from Carlton to New Brunswick to 400 Gradi. Neapolitan pizza which a glass of Shiraz, ok yes, Australian wine instead of Italian…. But that’s the best of both worlds! Wonderful service and amazing pizza and a perfect start to a visit to Melbourne

We had a great night. Come for the pizza but stay for the chilli mussels! The pizza lived up to expectations but in my humble opinion, if this place isn’t known for its mussels, it should be. Best I’ve ever had.

Not the same as it used to be. My pizza was very average and they didn't even bother cutting it into slices - literaly just a whole, lazy, unsliced pizza. The sauce was not great. Just your average, run of the mill pizza. I really wanted to keep getting pizza here as the quality used to be better, but I'm now, finally, done. If you can't even be bothered cutting a pizza into slices, I'm going elsewhere.

We used to eat here quite frequently however hadn’t been since pre-Covid. Both the quality of the food and the restaurant decor have deteriorated significantly. The decor is tired and needs an overhaul. The food was disappointing. The Sicilian olives were served in poor quality oil and the pasta dishes were mediocre. Previously the seafood pasta dish was served with a little fresh tomato and was delicious. This visit the same dish was drenched in tomato passata which was under seasoned and therefore bland. The only saving grace was the linguine. Likewise, the pasta bolognaise was underwhelming. I cook better at home. The two glasses of wine we chose from the ‘wine by the glass’ section of the menu were also pretty average despite being pricey. It is unfortunate as Gradi 400 is one of our local restaurants however we will not be returning as we’d rather spend our money elsewhere.
