  We often go to Checco for the best pizza in Lecce. The dough is outstanding. It’s a nice family run pizzeria off the main beaten track (out of the center) but every bit worth the trek. The service is always friendly too. Highly recommended!

  I'm passionate about sourdough pizza and I've been to so many pizzerias but this one is an absolute gem. Tomato base is top notch, brilliant. Doughs texture is unbelievably good. This was one of my best pizzas in my long live. Ricotta in star-shape edges was a cherry on the top

  Perfect pizza dought made with wood-burning owen. We tried two sorts: pesto pistaccios and straciatella&pistachios. It tasted very good, but 'mortadella' could be replaced with some other product (it got worse the very good taste of other ingredients). Very friendly staff! Looks like a place for locals, full of customers because of the food quality. Recommend!

  We went sunday evening and it was calm. We didn’t need a reservation. We ate mixed pizza and liked it.
