We were really looking forward to delicious pizzas but sadly the Bianca pizzas were too cheesy/greasy. The base around the corners were so good but the actual pizza was so hard to eat, I managed two slices. I hate throwing food away but I couldn’t eat anymore.

in Apulia pizza standards are very low. Il pizzicotto makes some of the better ones. With one girl you need to be assertive, likes to cut pieces too generous.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best pizza in Lecce, great quality, fair prices! Il Pizzicotto is hands down the best pizza spot we’ve found in Lecce! We tried a Quattro Formaggi with walnuts and honey, as well as a Diavola – both were absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ingredients were super fresh and high-quality. The sweet and savory mix of cheese, honey, and walnuts was outstanding, and the Diavola had just the right level of heat. Prices depend on the weight of each slice, typically between €2 and €4, but for this quality, it's totally worth it. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and a great selection of pizza varieties. We’re definitely coming back tomorrow, highly recommended! 🍕🔥

I love grabbing a slice of pizza at Il Pizzicotto in the heart of historic Lecce — it has the best crust and quality ingredients, like crispy bacon and buttery mushrooms. There are always delicious options and it can be hard to choose. And the service is always with a smile.
