  Napiz (a play on the word "Naples" in the local dialect) is much more than just a charming, cozy pizzeria. It is a local favorite in Milan with a serious pedigree, boasting accolades such as the ’50 Top Pizza Italy’ (widely considered the Michelin Guide of the pizza world), a recommendation from Gambero Rosso (Italy’s most influential food guide), and a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice award. Furthermore, the owner and head chef, Pasquale Pometto, is a former World Pizza Champion. The restaurant is vibrantly decorated with bold colors, creating a fun and welcoming vibe. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a lovely touch: a complimentary small slice of pizza and a glass of Prosecco to whet your appetite. They offer an English menu, and the pizza comes in both traditional styles and folded versions (Panuozzo). The standout feature is the dough—featuring a high, fluffy crust (Cornicione) with signature "Leopard spots" charring, staying true to authentic Neapolitan tradition while remaining incredibly light and easy to digest. Must-try Dishes: ‘Pomet Calabro (Spicy Panuozzo)’: A folded pizza topped with fresh rocket and cheese. The crust is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, paired with a vibrant tomato base that makes every bite refreshing. ‘Marinapoli’: A signature recipe featuring fragrant San Marzano tomatoes and fresh Fior di Latte Mozzarella. It’s topped with premium anchovies that aren't overly salty, providing a perfectly balanced savory kick. ‘Burrata’: A hit for cheese lovers! It features a massive, creamy ball of Burrata placed right in the center, accompanied by high-quality Parma Ham. I can honestly say this is a place you’ll want to visit again and again. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. If you’re visiting Milan, this is a must-visit—it’s just 3 stops away from the Duomo!

  Went to this place a few times over the last months as I was working close by. Service was great and quick. Could eat within 45 mins. Pizza nice portion and tasty. You are always welcome with a glass prosecco and bites of vegetarian pizza. I really enjoyed the Marinara. The restaurant has lots of signatures on the walls from different customer and you can see the place is a success.

  Funny and very casual atmosphere next to more upmarket places. The quality of food was great. I loved my camberi salad that was fresh and the seafood didn’t come from a freezer. My mom had buffalo mozzarella that we expected to be more soft like burrata. The special pizza was nice and spicy. The dolce Limoncello sorbet was excellent. They offered complimentary shots as digestive.

  Very fast service, welcome drinks, and free limoncello at the end. The staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious. The tiramisu was especially amazing. No complaints at all — definitely one of the best restaurants in Milan!

  One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten, was good if you don’t know what to order go for the margherita it was the best. The hot sauce was amazing. I didn’t like just one thing, they gave us a drink type welcome drink but it was alcoholic ( we didn’t drink it) but next time make sure to let the costumer understands that it’s alcoholic (anyways they took it away kindly).
