I had heard incredible things about Pizzeria Beddia, and let me tell you, it absolutely lives up to the hype. Growing up in New York, I’ve had my fair share of good pizza. But wow. The pizza here was SO delicious. What truly sets a pizza apart is the the crust, and pizzeria beddia has mastered it. We ordered the pie with roasted potato, smoked paprika cream and charred scallions, and it may have just become my all time favorite. The combination was so flavorful, perfectly paired with the light and crispy crust. We lucked out and were able to walk in and get 2 seats at the bar at 5pm on a Friday. But definitely recommend making reservations in advance or coming even earlier. It’s popular for a reason!

We recently tried Pizzeria Beddia’s Hoagie Room experience (reservation required — and only for six people at a time!) We spent several hours absolutely enjoying spritzes and each bite — incredible ham, flavorful lemony beans, tomato pie (!!), salty and decadent anchovies, carefully curated selections of cheese, salads with incredible dressing (including a sesame miso one I’m still dreaming about), turkey hoagies (possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had), flavorful vegetable hoagies with eggplant and mushrooms, italian hoagie, and three incredible pizzas of our choice with toppings like calabrian cream, collard greens, delicata squash and simply cheese. We all left so full with tons of leftovers and our host was wonderful and informative. The house-made rolls were a special highlight and I adored the sweet-cream and espresso ice cream that wrapped up our meal. Truly a bucket-list-worthy foodie experience in Philly! We will absolutely be back just to sit in the main dining room and try more incredible bites. This is a must-try for foodies and just anyone who likes a great sandwich and slice of pizza.

This was spectacular pizza. I was impressed by the quality and the creativity. The crust was crunchy the toppings heavenly. Better than New Haven, as good as the best in Brooklyn. Definitely top 5 in my lifetime.

The Hoagie Room at Pizzeria Beddia was absolutely phenomenal. The hoagies were unreal, but what really made it special was the experience itself. We booked the private room to celebrate a milestone birthday, and it felt intimate, fun, and totally unforgettable. Every detail was thoughtful, the food was outstanding, and it was such a unique way to celebrate. Can’t wait to go back!

Pizzeria Beddia is one of our favorite spots in Philadelphia, not just for pizza but for a full evening out. We try to visit often. The space is bright, industrial, and airy. Warm wood, white walls, good lighting. There's real breathing room, which you don't always get in a popular spot like this. It has a genuine neighborhood feel without trying too hard. Reminds me a lot of places I've loved in Chicago and Brooklyn. Great bar too, and there are booths near the kitchen with glass windows where you can watch the staff work. Our daughter loved that part. Food is excellent. We always order the chicories caesar with grana padano and breadcrumbs, the lettuce salad with shaved vegetables and creamy oregano dressing, and usually the arrabbiata or tomato pie with sausage and pickled chilies. Everything is consistently good. My wife likes the ice cream. Portions and pricing feel right. We've brought our daughter a few times, usually around 4:30 or 5:00 on weekends. Once, she had a complete meltdown, and we were totally embarrassed. The staff packed everything up for us to go, no judgment at all, just really kind about the whole thing. That genuinely stuck with us. The crowd feels local, the music is good, and it stays unpretentious despite its popularity. Service is always warm. It's the kind of place every city needs. Make a reservation. And thanks, Joe, we'll be back soon!

We went for dinner and sat outside. The food is absolutely delicious, we had the appetizer special which was meatballs. Then we had a pizza, very good. Then we had sweet cream flavored soft serve for dessert, which was heavenly. The atmosphere is cute and service was amazing. It was a little hard to find as it is situated in an alley way and no sign outside. But, it is worth finding!

Food was superb. Service was great headlined by Miranda. Attention to detail was spot on. Great evening. Team dinner before start of meetings in the City of Brotherly Love. Great choice. There was plenty of food for everyone. The appetizers including the anchovies were superb. Tomato bread heavenly. Beans real yummy. The salads were really good. The roasted veggies were a nice touch. We had five pies the only that I would not repeat was the spicy. Team ordered one thinking spicy tomato sauce, spice came from an over abundance of jalapeños. Lesson learned is ‘read the menu’. Several were doubtful of the white sauce, after dinner they wished we had ordered 2. There were a few who sampled the soft serve, honestly not what we expected. This was outstanding!!! Great way to wrap up the evening. Highly recommend. Parking can be a challenge, take an UBER.

I've been here several times and it never disappoints! The menu is simple, but flexible. The caesar salad is great to share before pizza. I'd urge you to try the seasonal pie, but there are other classic options and you can add toppings. Warning: the pickled chiles are very hot! They have a great wine list and solid local beer on tap. The space is very open, warm and clean and the staff is very friendly. Make a reservation or try to get a walk-in seat at the bar in a pinch. The bar also has a great view of the kitchen!
