  One of the best Cheesesteaks I ever head. The meat was good quality and seasoned well. The onions were cut well so you actually see them. I got mine with Cooper Sharp. The cheese meat ratio was perfect. That’s the one thing I didn’t like at Angelo’s. It tasted like a cheese sandwich. My only complaint. Del Rossi’s was perfect all around. The bread was also very good which put the icing on the cake. I also ordered a slice of pizza to try it out. It was crispy and good as well, but the cheesesteak was the highlight. Definitely will be returning. Definitely in my top 3 of best Cheesesteaks.

  Phenomenal pizza and cheesesteaks. Great staff - personable and fun. We flew in from Utah and went directly to Del Rossi’s and it did not disappoint - definitely worth the trip and we will be back this week before we leave to go home. Shout out to Jenn, the manager, for her amazing hospitality and “making us” try the cheesesteak. Shoutout to Dave for letting us borrow his phone - so nice! Love the Philly authenticity at this spot!

  Whoa! Del Rossi's blew my mind. I grew up eating cheesesteaks (the ultimate comfort food), and this is way, way up there -- probably the very best I've had. The steak, the bread, the cheese, it's all spectacular, and it's the real deal. Some of the other newer steak places are great too, but this really tasted like the ultimate cheesesteak rather than a slightly different thing (if that makes sense). The pizza was also outstanding. Got a slice of pepperoni that we shared as a family. Completely loved it. The place is also great. Real fast service, good atmosphere, great people. I can't wait to go back (might even grab a couple of t-shirts -- that's how much we love this place)!

  I came here for the first time to order a cheesesteak and pizza I was accidentally charged an additional cheesesteak but was easily fixed right away. The cheesesteak was amazing a solid 9.2 on my list of cheesesteaks. The bread was super crunchy and flavorful the cheesesteak was so tender and filling they definitely do not skimp on the meat. It tasted fresh steamy and delicious. The pizza was a solid 8.5 the sauce was sweet and the pizza crust was fresh and crunchy. I wish there was a little more sauce on the pizza but overall an amazing experience and great customer service. Definitely coming back again.

  We ordered a large plain pizza, a cheese steak with cooper sharp and fried onions, and an order of fries. Everything was great! The staff was friendly and attentive. The dining area is a little small but they get the food out quickly and it's so delicious that people eat quickly, by the time our food was ready a table opened up for us.

  Perfect setting for hole-in-wall transcendent cheesesteak experience. Cheesesteak was good, roll excellent, but entire production was a tinge too greasy. Very willing to go again and get this up to 5-star experience.

  This is by far my favorite cheesesteak in Philly! Wait isn't bad, vibe of the restaurant is pretty cool, staff is super friendly and the cheesesteaks are out of this world!!!! Tons of meat, lots of cheese and the roll is spectacular. We also tried a pizza which was fantastic. Del Rossi's has become our go to favorite place to visit!

  The Tour de Cheesesteak returns to the Big City. After a few stops in the Philly suburbs, back to the city. And back with a hidden gem winner. Never saw Del Rossi's listed on any `Best of' lists. Probably a good thing because it would be way up there, unseating some of the perennial favorites. Three for lunch. So of course 3 cheesesteaks with onions. No wiz, Cooper cheese instead. Deliciously prepared steak, sliced thin, tender and using beef tallow. You can absolutely taste the difference. As well as using Cooper cheese instead of wiz - a much better overall flavor. But the clincher - the rolls. Not delivered - baked in house. Right behind the small seating area. They bake their own rolls!!! Fresh. Daily. Provides the perfect start and finish to the sandwich. Delightful! And because Del Rossi's is also know for pizza, took a Margherita home for dinner (Note - did not ea much the next day) Great crust, excellent base, wonderful cheese and sauce. Just as good as the cheesesteaks. Finally - great staff. friendly, helpful, fast and efficient. Small dining area and may be hard to get a seat, but on a nice day - enjoy outdoors. Almost hate to write this review. Want to keep the place all to myself and those in the know.

  This order is based on takeout, the experience was awesome! We went simple: a cheesesteak with cooper and onions plus a traditional pizza with mushrooms. The order was delivered exactly when estimated, items were still hot. The cheesesteak was superb! The roll should get accolades all to itself. We also loved the pizza, especially the crust. Just the right amount of char and the crust bubbles make it even better. Next time we will try to dine in. Judging by the takeout order, we have very high expectations….
