Ohhhh my. We walked up at lunch, just so happened to beat the lunch rush as a line formed quickly behind us. The lady at the counter greeted us promptly and made a suggestion for a great cheese steak and oh my goodness. Best cheese steak I've ever eaten! Ever! I'm a nervous orderer so I really appreciated the lady at the front counter. She texted when the food was ready and pickup was a breeze. I think the food was about $15 / person but oh my at the portion. We probably should've shared but I'm grateful for left overs. See you again soon!!

For me, this was the best cheasesteak sandwich in Philly by far. The bread was just perfect, freshly baked just down the street. The meat was high quality, juicy and flavourfull. There is no seating at Angelo's. It is strictly a "grab your food and eat it on a stoop or in your car" experience. And one mote thing: even after you order, it might take 20–30 minutes for your name to be called and get your food.

Was recommended by many and also a Michelin rated. Told the line is typically very long so my friend ordered in advance so we can go pick it up. Food was good but not quite worth the hype. Staff were cool and friendly. No dining area. Parking is a pain. I personally liked their pizza more than their cheese steak

Since I'm in Philly, I had to try a few cheesesteak spots. This was on my list. Got here and the line was pretty long. It moves pretty fast. They have a great system for the space. You walk up and place the order. They text you when everything is ready and then you pay. Allows everyone to order quickly and get out the way. I ordered their regular cheesesteak. I wanted to order a slice too but it seems they only sell by the pie. I forgot to ask... Anyway, I think within about 10mins I got the text my cheesesteak is ready. I got to the hotel room and opened it. I just sat there with a smile for a moment admiring it. The cheese is mixed in with all the meat and onions. Just the way i like it. Ensures that every bite is as good as the last. One negative was... I just wasn't 100% feeling the bread they use. This was honestly Delicious. Easily, one of the best cheesesteaks I've had. Their staff was great too... Quick to help...

Stopped by Angelo’s Pizzeria on 9th Street and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The cheesesteak was next level — high-quality rib-eye, plenty of Cooper Sharp, and that house-made sesame seed roll that just hits different. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The pizza was just as good, honestly the best I’ve had in Philly. We got there just before noon, called ahead, and had no wait at all — which never happens at Angelo’s, probably because it was 19° outside. Either way, worth every bite. Highly recommend

Went for a wander from the city centre to Angelo’s as reports were the best Philly cheesesteak out there. Well it did not disappoint. Was a Saturday, there was a queue but didn’t take long to go down- very efficient. Beef was tasty, cheese mixed through perfectly with lovely onions, but the sesame baguette with it was superb. Loved it, could eat one a day!

Some family members and I got some take out cheesesteaks and pizza from here. The cheesesteaks were good, the only thing is I wish the meat and onions were chopped up a little smaller but that’s just a preference thing, they were still very good. The pizza was also incredibly good. Definitely worth trying out.

Picked up at the uber eats location. I believe in person is delicious but that uber eats location tasted terrible. Oil all over the steak, top burned up. Nasty

The cheesesteak was AMAZING! The service was good too. You just need to get there at the right time to find a parking spot somewhere close.

Wow! The hype is real. We had an Italian hoagie and a cheesesteak. Both were delicious! The rolls are covered in sesame seeds and have the perfect texture. The cheesesteak has the best proportion of meat and cheese. The Italian hoagie has a decent amount of meat with very thinly sliced lettuce, tomato, and onions. My friend ordered for us. We were texted about 45 minutes later that our order was ready for pickup. Luckily my friend lives nearby so we could eat at his place. Otherwise there are park benches with people eating all over the neighborhood. We will have to try the pizza next time because I’ve heard good things about that, too.
