A great pizza place with delicious food and good service. The pizzas are always served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I tried a spicy chicken pizza and a cheese pizza, and both were excellent with generous toppings and well-balanced sauce. …

Everyone said to go to Angelo's for pizza. We went. We left because they didn't have seating. A local suggested Square Pie. It was a short walk from Angelo's. We highly recommend Square Pie! We enjoyed everything about it. Great crust! As Lou told us, the crust is so good that everyone eats the whole crust unlike other pizzas. The pepperoni was thick with a little spice. The cozy atmosphere is what we expected of a local pizza place. The business story is heartwarming. We will definitely go back to Square Pie when in Philly.

Eight of us descended on Square Pie today for a family lunch. Since I typically gravitate toward thin crust pizza, I admit to being a skeptic. This pizza was a revelation! We ordered the Soppressetta, Red, and Spinach pies. The dough was fluffy & light, the sauce & toppings flavorful. The Owner took over the business in September and is attempting to breathe new life into onsite dining. Highly recommend Square Pie for take-out or in person dining!

Not your average pizza, if you are looking for a thin crust slice of typical pie you need to go elsewhere, this is substantial, almost Chicago style, lets say this is a Philly style pizza, it is a well done slab of pie, the sauce is deep, cheese is a good quality. We collected it as they were around the corner! three pieces each and you are stuffed!!!!

Terrible - almost too hot to carry when I was given box for pick up. No wonder, as the pizza was burnt black on the bottom ( see picture) as you can’t make this up. Too thick with little cheese, and a border that was too much dough and not enough pizza. To make matters worse - we ordered a mozzarella pizza and cheap shaker level Parmesan cheese was put on pizza and it made the pizza smelly such that I couldn’t really taste tomato sauce nor mozzarella cheese. Shaking Parmesan cheese when I orders a mozzarella pizza seems a violation that I didn’t discover till I brought pizza home. The same can be said for the Caesar salad which also had cheap shaken Parmesan cheese unlike the shaved Parmesan cheese with a more delicate flavor . In short - burned black bottom pizza, Ill smelling Parmesan cheese, a crust that’s too much crust and where’s the pizza ?
