We had delicious wood oven pizza at his restaurant. We ate at the bar and had good service. This was our second visit to Sydney and this place. If we were locals we would eat here regularly. It’s definitely worth a trip outside the CBD.

The pizza was nice. However, they left the anchovies off our pizza. From a service level this was fine, however the outrage of paying $14 for five anchovies to arrive on a separate plate is crazy. After speaking to the manager he agreed to give us ONE MORE ANCHOVY. This has promoted a discussion between our whole group about the price and mark up of an anchovy and it simply cannot be $2.80 per anchovy. Do not ask for anchovies

Got told by a lot of people from Sydney this is the best Pizza in Newtown. All I can say is it feel well short of that expectation could've been an off night but I can get better Pizza in Adelaide... let me reiterate.. Adelaide. Service was good though.

Bella Brutta is one of our favourite restaurant venues in Sydney. It’s’ a very cool and trendy place with such a fun vibe right in the heart of Newtown. It has a great choice of small and larger dishes on the menu and our favourite is the clam pizza. Our server last night , Grace, was very professional, attentive and personable and made our evening so special. We will definitely go back again.
