I liked that the pizza was cooked in a wood-fired oven, and you can really taste the difference it makes. The pizza was cooked very well and the service was fast. I had the Siciliano pizza, while my friends ordered the Napoletana, and I tasted both. The olives on the Napoletana were a bit too salty for my taste — soaking them in water beforehand could help reduce the saltiness. Personally, I preferred the Siciliano pizza and would recommend it. Overall, I was satisfied with the price–performance. That said, I still haven’t had a truly exceptional pizza in Sydney — the search continues… 🙏

🍕 A Neapolitan Delight in Darlinghurst! I had the pleasure of dining at Lucio Pizzeria last night, and it was an outstanding experience. I enjoyed an absolutely delicious Neapolitan pizza: the dough was thin, light, perfectly baked, and the toppings were fresh and carefully selected. The welcome was warm, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere very pleasant. Kudos to the kitchen, to the restaurant, and to the entire team 👏 For dessert, I had a vanilla panna cotta with a strawberry coulis — a real treat to end a perfect meal. I’ll definitely recommend this spot to all my French friends visiting Sydney. Many thanks again, and see you soon !

Very nice hidden Italian place! The waiter was very nice with us. To start, we had the burrata, which was really good and the eggplant gave it a different but special touch; the only thing I would change it was that it could have some focaccia to go with. Then we tried the campagnolia and the truffle pizzas. For me, the campagnolia was amazing! The cheese was super good, and I switch the sausages for hot salami (I loved it!). The pizza was neapolitan style - amazing; and the dough was super soft. To end the meal, a tiramisú, which was really balanced and tasty. Really nice hidden gem in Sydney.

This place never disappoints with its authentic pizza and warm service, set in a bustling little location, making it feel like you could be in Italy. It's one of my favourite pizza spots in Sydney because they keep it simple with perfected classic flavour combos and use quality ingredients. Grazie 🙏 I also rate Bar Lucio, run by these guys for great coffee, sfogliatelle and focaccia.

Have been following this pizza place since their Zetland store and still happily making the trip to the Darlinghurst store now. The quality has stayed consistently great — not just the pizzas, but the pasta and pretty much everything else …

Skip the olives to start, they’re a random mix and don’t have much flavour. Go straight to the mains as it’s a great serving. …

Horrible and very strange front of house woman who totally forgot our booking, got our order wrong, was overbearing and delivering things we never ordered, I'm not sure if she is a family member of the owners or what but the younger staff were obviously scared of her. The food was salty, salt in everything and we couldn't even finish half of our meals because of the salt. not a nice place to dine.

Pathetic service #luciopizzeriazetland! The Asian lady who attended to us was atrociously rude, made us wait for 20 minutes (mind you, we were with a very hungry kid) only to tell us later that she still isn't sure how much more time we would have to wait. Mind you there 3 sets of uncleaned tables that she said were reserved but they remained uncleaned for the entire 20 mins that we waited. She was plain lazy has zero courtesy. Guys! Pls spend some time, money and energy in training your staff on basic courtesy levels. In this day and age if you are not kind to your guests (forget about going that extra mile), you will fail. And then guess what! Post your horrible experience we were greeted and how by #vianapoli - learn from them! #badservice #rude #zeroempathy!

Nice location and pizza was ok, but pastas (my table had several different ones) were not. Undercooked pasta and sauces that looked and tasted like they were reheated from a supermarket bottle.
