I was expecting much more from this restaurant. I went there with a friend of mine to have a pizza and I was a bit disappointed. We struggled to finish the pizzas that were heavy and too cheesy. Despite the staff being very friendly, I would't go back to this place.

A true gem in the heart of Castel di Sangro. The first thing that strikes you is the kindness and professionalism of the staff: always attentive, knowledgeable, and ready to recommend the best dishes and wines, making the dining experience truly special. The cuisine is simply extraordinary. Every day, the chef manages to surprise with carefully crafted, flavorful, and high-quality dishes, enhanced by the ever-present dish of the day, a delicious new addition that demonstrates passion and creativity. From pizza to house specialties, everything is prepared with great care and flavor. For me, without a doubt, the best restaurant in Castel di Sangro. Congratulations to the entire staff at "La Lanterna": I will always be happy to return!
