This is a great family-owned and operated hotel/restaurant just outside of the center of Castel di Sangro. The location is very convenient with less traffic than city center and close to gas stations and main roads. The hotel is very clean and offers more amenities than you would typically find in a hotel in this area, including a gym, full restaurant and bar, and banquet room. The pizza is fantastic - the restaurant is an Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana verified restaurant (the only one in Castel di Sangro). The family runs the hotel and restaurant and they take pride in providing a great experience. The rooms are standard, comfortable, and clean. Great place to stay. We'll be back!!!

Loved stating at this hotel. Conveniently situated in close proximity to anything you might need. The service, being family owned and operated, was professional and courteous. The room was comfortable and maintained well every day. The food at the restaurant attached is absolutely divine as well! Definitely reccomend Hotel La Fenice!

We stopped for dinner with my two small kids. 4 and 2 years old. We have waiting more than 40 minutes for a normal pizza. Meanwhile other guest arrived after us was served in 5 minutes because local friend of the chef.
