Slightly overrated if you ask me, especially given there’s apparently a 10k person waitlist… we put ourselves on the waitlist for a Friday during Cherry blossom season (2025) 1.5 weeks in advance and got the sitting. The pizza tastes good, …

If you are a pizza lover you should make sure to get a reservation at the pizza bar. All ingredients are fresh and sourced from Japan. The pizza dough is light and thanks to the omakase concept you get to try 6 different pizza - some classics and some seasonal. My favorite was the spinach crostino. The chefs prepare the pizza in front of you and explain each flavor. The atmosphere is light and friendly. All the staff was incredibly kind. I am definitely coming back!

This was my second visit to Pizza on 38th, and since my last visit the menu has changed to an Omakase format. Initially, I had some reservations about this, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of the menu. The chefs noted my dietary requirements and accommodated them thoughtfully by substituting ingredients while still providing high quality, locally sourced proteins. The chefs were extremely knowledgeable and prepared some of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. Each course was presented with care and precision. The difference in quality is evident. The flavours are vibrant and the freshness of the ingredients truly elevates the entire experience. I look forward to returning on my next visit.

Amazing, the experience of the whole meal is amazing and the pizzas are phenomenal, there is a reason why it’s the second best pizzeria in the world. The service was amazing on of the pizza chefs made there own hot-oil, at the end I asked for a sample so I can use it back home and he was kind enough to gift me one for free. This place is perfect with for a date or you just wanna experience perfection of pizzas

Great service and the experience was wonderful. Was lucky enough to squeeze in the booking one week before. Had bookmarked this since 2023 and finally had a chance. There is classic pizza and also seasonal pizza with ingredients from japan and worldwide. Sharing some of my favourite pizzas. No wonder it is the best pizza in japan/asia!

When I first heard about this place, I balked at the price. ¥17,600? Per person ?? For pizza?!? I’m a New Yorker; I grew up with a slice costing $1.25! (It ended up costing ¥20,240 person after the 15% service charge was added.) …

The pizza’s are amazing, I cannot eat a normal pizza again without thinking ‘it’s not as good as the Pizza Bar on 38th’. Every course was amazing and the chefs took time to explain every course. It was such an intimate experience and the service was amazing too. I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and wasn’t disappointed. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would.

Easily the most unique pizza experience I've ever had. The pizza itself was like no pizza texture I've ever had before. Almost like focaccia, it is light, crispy and airy. The toppings were all fresh, seasonal and unique. While some of the combinations were definitely a lot, they were always tasty, and never ordinary. For all the variety in the toppings, I was expecting a similar variety in dough styles as well, but If you're a pizza fan, this is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience in a very unexpected and unassuming place.

My wife and I did the lunch service pizza omakase. The chefs were approachable and friendly answering all my questions, as I picked up pizza making as a pandemic hobby lol. Reservations can be tricky and you prepay when reserving online, drinks will be paid for at the restaurant. Farm to table concept with local farms and few imported ingredients. The pizzas are unique and the definitely out their own spin on traditional pizzas as well. You’re served one slice of each pizza and to be honest I don’t think I could have eaten multiple slices, as I was the perfect amount of full at the end of the meal. The experience is personable and they give you a printed out menu with your name and date of service as well as a small parting edible gift. I would definitely recommend this dining experience to a friend. Last but not least the view over Tokyo from the bathroom is insane🤯 lol.

One of the best pizzas! My friend told me Japan has some of the best pizzas and it was totally true. Highly recommend this restaurant. The sides are also delicious. Recommend the ancobi pizza and the carbonara
