Pizza Lovers say: "Amazing margherita and authentic Neapolitan dough. Some find the crust not high enough, but the taste is great."

Everything we ordered tasted great. If you get the bread to dip in the ajillo it tastes like garlic bread! Forgot to take a pic of the margherita but that was yummy as well. We got the “normal” one. It gets a bit noisy as the night goes on. Overall, a nice experience.

At lunchtime, there is a menu that includes salads and soft drinks, which is reasonably priced. For pasta, chose mentaiko and mushroom cream, and for pizza, chose buffalo margherita. Both were delicious. The entrance is narrow, but there was an open table seat in the back of the store. The customer service of the staff was pleasant. True Neapolitan Pizza Association 478th shop. The True Neapolitan Pizza Association, founded by Neapolitan pizza craftsmen in July 1984, has two major roles. (1) Re-evaluate the traditional techniques of craftsmen that have been handed down from ancient times in Naples, and prevent them from changing over generations. (2) Make detailed standards to pass on the tradition of Neapolitan pizza to posterity. Il Sole TEN-3 received the 478th "VERA PIZZA" sign in the world in 2013 as a true Neapolitan pizza association certified store.

I stumpled upon this little piece of Naples in Osaka by spotting the firewood tiled oven from outside. The food they serve here is as authentic as it gets, except that they renamed suppli to coquette, and precut my pizza unlike what they (don't) do in Italy 😆

Being an italian and having worked as a pizza cook in the past, I can say this pizzeria knows his stuff. The dough is good, the ingredients are imported either from Italy or from Spain. The pizza was cooked finely in an wood oven. To be completely fair, this is not the classic Neapolitan pizza as the crust is not high and the dough is very thin, but the taste is still great. I would have preferred more tomato sauce instead of sliced tomatoes, but this could very well be just my personal preference. Compared to other foods in Osaka I found this just an inch too expensive, comprehensibly enough considering it is certified italian pizza in Osaka in a pretty touristic avenue. Still recommended for anyone who hasn't been to Italy yet.

As you walk down the longest 商店街 (shopping street) in Japan the last thing you may expect to find is an authentic Naples Pizzeria, but Pizzeria Il Sole is just that. A member of Vera Pizza Napoletana, this is a fantastic example of the great food you can get in Japan. We ordered a variety of appetizers, pasta and 4 different pizzas. Each dish was better than the last. The Pizza's came out last and we eagerly devoured in about 30 seconds! If you are ever in Osaka and need to get your pizza fix, I highly recommend the Il Sole restaurants!
