What a wonderful spot. We had a pleasant experience. Got beet salad, carrot soup, and mushroom pizza. Also ordered a housemade soda and two scoops of ice cream. It was a bit of a pricier end, but we felt like the attentive service and quality of food, and the creativity were somewhat worth the price. However, wished that they offered a bit more protein to the dishes.

Love this place, relaxing and pretty dining area. Full Service and worth a 20% tip! Like how they wrap leftover pizza in paper, no bulky boxes Pizza crust is light, crispy and chewy. Homemade ice cream is a must!

This place was recommended by a friend for my first time in Portland & it did not disappoint! The pizza was delicious. Some of the best I've had for sure. The dough was light & airy without being chewy. Pleasant & not too thin. It didnt feel like a chunk of bread while eating & gave way to enjoy the toppings. Perfectly crunchy crust 👌🏼 *chef's kiss* I had the golden potato two ways. Definitely recommend! Their homemade ranch was also very good. Light and refreshing. Save room for some of their ice cream too! Recommend the buckwheat honey with nuts. Its rich but not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and provided great service. A little bit of a wait to be seated (about 20mins) but it was worth it. Pizza + side of ranch & 1 scope of ice cream (no drink; only water) was $39 + tip. Not bad given everything is made fresh and in house.

This was our first time at Lovely’s after visiting Portland several times. We had the mixed chicories salad, the rainbow chard pizza, the winter rapini pizza, and a few flavors of their ice cream. The service was great and food excellent. It’s a family friendly restaurant and the decor is very Portland. It definitely lives up to its reputation.

When you look at the menu, It's not your normal pizza listings. It's simply delicious, we ordered the Jerusalem artichoke pizza and sundried tomatoe pizza. Both were delicious, not in your typical pizza,, hard to describe but think like an elevated Napolitan style. It's pricey but worth it-Can taste the quality ingredients.

The Best Summertime Pie! On our CA, OR, WA road trip to visit five national parks, we dined and stayed in Portland, specifically to hit two pizza restaurants, with Lovely's Fifty Fifty being one of them. Plan on getting there early, putting your name in, and waiting for a good hour, if not longer. Street parking is available, and you can wander around as you wait for your table to be ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Why this place? Sarah Minnick. She's pretty famous in the pizza universe. She's been on the Netflix show, "Chef's Table: Pizza" and we have been to a few restaurants now that were featured on the show. Anyhow, we were here in August, and as such, the best of the two pizzas we tried was the most wonderful taste of summer - - roasted peaches (!), roasted corn (!), fresh tomatoes... It was truly summertime on a pizza. So, so good. The salads were also excellent. Slow service, but not a problem. Good prices. Good wait staff. Nice atmosphere, with a little Portland "weird" or quirkiness , which we liked very much. I am exceedingly glad we went here.

This is a busy place that doesn’t take reservations. So arrive early before it opens. Didn’t try the ice cream, but the salads and pizza are excellent. The server was great at guiding us to some great decisions. Everything is fresh and they create some unique combinations on the pizza and salad. I don’t think you could go wrong.

The food was delicious, unique, and locally sourced but a little pricey. Our 12 inch pizza was $30. The service was great, but you should be prepared to wait since they don't take reservations.

This was the last stop on our most recent foodie tour of Portland. It was a busy Saturday night and the wait time was just over two hours which gave us time to enjoy a couple of drinks at a nearby bar. The hostess did a great job managing the wait list. Our server was super friendly. We ordered a bottle of wine, a radicchio salad as an appetizer and two pizzas. The radicchio salad was amazing, I still am thinking about it 3 months later. The pizza was surprisingly average. Overall an enjoyable evening but didn’t make it to our top five Portland list. I would prob return just for the salad.

Lovely's Fifty Fifty has been featured in Chef's Table - Pizza and for good reason; it is AWESOME! The story behind the restaurant is great; however you don't need to know the story to enjoy this very cool, fun restaurant located in the Mississippi District of Portland (North). Lovely's is open from 5pm to 10pm everyday. They do not take reservations so plan on waiting a bit for a table especially in the spring/summer months. It's worth the wait so be patient. The pizzas vary based on the local ingredients available. As an example, we enjoyed a pizza topped with nettles plus tallegio (sp) and etxegian (sp) cheeses. The crust for the pizza is off the charts good (not thin and not too thick). Some of the starters are easier to share than others; check with your server for recommendations. We enjoyed a pasta fagiloa (sp) which was super delicious and topped with kale flowers! Amazing! Pro Tip - save room for dessert! Lovely's makes their own ice cream and it's tasty! We had some Wild Ginger and the flavors vary again based on what's available seasonally in the Portland area. I have been to Lovely's numerous times and since the menu varies you never know what will be available and it's all good!
