We visited this restaurant twice, and our experiences were very different, that’s why I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5. First visit: It was amazing. The pizza was incredibly flavorful - deep, rich taste that’s hard to explain. We even met the chef afterwards and found out he’s a pizza champion, which made total sense based on the quality. The staff were so kind. The pistachio tiramisu was outstanding, and the wine was excellent. Second visit: Sadly, the experience wasn’t the same. We came again before our flight home, excited for the same amazing food - but the pizzas were average this time: chewy and dry, nothing like before. I’m sure the chef wasn’t there, it felt like someone new or less experienced prepared them. The tiramisu portion was much bigger than the first time, and it tasted a little old, not something they should serve I think they were trying to finish what was left. Attached: photos from our first two pizzas + dessert, and from our second visit (two pizzas + dessert).

Delicious pizzas. One of the younger staff speaks a little bit of English but you will also require a little bit of basic Italian and some pointing to get by. I think the staff appreciated us trying. Pizzas a really good size. Restaurant wasn't super busy at all when we arrived (we were the only guests) and then it got a little bit busier with some other tourists and some locals. Would go again if I was in Catania.

Very welcoming, seemed like a family run place and the waitress, her daughter and the chef all lovely! We don’t speak much Italian but were able to get by. Pizzas were delicious! Cute and cosy, with outdoor and inside seating and loved the decor! Definitely recommend this place!

Potentially the best pizza I had in Sicily. The owner is an award-winning pizza chef. Extremely good and prices are quite a bit lower than than other pizzerias I went to in Sicily. They also have a lot of other tasty-sounding dishes and I really wanted to come there more than once, but had no opportunity. Portions are large, wouldn't wan't it any larger per person, even though I like to eat a lot. Nicely furnished place, nice staff. An interesting story of the owner described in the menu. Expect €2 coperto added to the bill, and check the bill if they charged you for the beer the price from the menu - they overcharged me, but I won't take away a star due to the overall experience and deliciousness of the pizzas. They accept cards, as everywhere I went to in Sicily.
