Simply fantastic! We were a group of 8 and ordered 8 different Neapolitan pizzas – all of them arrived super quickly, fresh from the oven, and tasted amazing. The service was attentive, friendly, and absolutely top-notch. I can especially recommend the delicious dips, which go perfectly with the pizzas. All in all, a wonderful evening – everything here is just right!

Such a nice evening! We ordered different pizzas, mine was cotto fumé in a sour dough and got a very fresh, with orange notes local beer which pair perfectly with the pizza. The outdoor area is relax, the service was friendly, incredibly fast, and explain us well the different types of dough and the restaurant vision to innovate in flavors profile, as in my case, they use yellow cherry tomatoes for the sauce. Fair prices, easy to book a table.

Liked this so much we ate here twice. Sicilian food done really well. Had a pizza, calzone, the tuna and potato salad, and a really nice craft beer called Ephesto. Davide is a wonderful host.

Personally, my pizza (crudo e fumo) was fantastic. The tomatoes were incredibly tasty - and the general combination with the prosciutto was just great. One of the best pizzas I have had. I give 4 stars because my partners pizza (the buffala and artichokes) was good but not amazing. Service was attentive.

Sicily #8, Catania #8, Italian #3, Pizza #1: had a pretty bizarre experience here mostly due to poor service. We ordered: chips to start, a margherita san Marzano €12.5, a mortadella e pistacchio €15, & a bufala e carciofi €13,5. Vino rosso de la casa €6/ea. The chips were a let down as they were served with packets of ketchup and mayo. Not sure how mandolined, fried potatoes are worth €6. The pizzas were all pretty good. I think the mortadella e pistacchio would be my top three of the bunch, but I liked all of them for the most part. The house wine (kind of expensive IMO) was very, very good. Our waitress was very short and brusque with us, and she was also slow (a rather strange combo). She wasn't very friendly or helpful and kind of killed the vibe. 3/4 of the way through our meal we had other staff helping us and the experience was immediately better. Overall, while I think Squib's pizza is good, I don't think I'd go back. It's a bit stuffy to me and seems like it's trying to be high end. I much prefer the pizzerias in Naples who just care about serving great pizza where you can get a normal, non-craft beer. I also think Sicily Pizzeria & Lounge Bar in Ortigia was better across all dimensions (food, ambiance, service, value).

Thoroughly satisfying dinner at Squib. For pizzas, they use excellent quality flours and ingredients, and offer three dough styles. Not only were the pizzas excellent, but also the other dishes we had, like broadbean "maccu" and caponata were high quality, I'd say gourmet restaurant level. Friends at the table ravished also about beef and tuna dishes. Very reasonable prices for the quality.
