Austin built its pizza scene fast, and one import stuck harder than the rest: Detroit-style. The Texas capital became one of the country's most enthusiastic adopters of the square, pan-baked pie, and it now runs alongside the wood-fired rooms rather than behind them.

Neapolitan is the most common style on our map, with a strong Detroit-style and slice contingent behind it, the latter closer to New York than to Naples. The rooms spread from the east side across the central grid. The city groups under the United States hub.
