Little Deli & Pizzeria is a bustling, family-style counter/sit-down spot with distinct Northeastern influence. It definitely reminded me of home. The slices were priced slightly lower than some places in Austin, but otherwise par for the course. The slice itself was a great size. The crust was the correct thickness and fairly crispy, making for a satisfying bite. The ratio of cheese to red sauce was well-balanced. My primary complaint was that the red sauce leaned too sweet. It threw off the taste of the slice and was particularly noticeable on the plain slice. A little sweetness is fine, but this slice was almost completely devoid of acidity and tang. #GardenStateRates ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is like heaven on earth for me. Super cool spot. Gets very busy with families and locals and for good reason. The pastrami is thin-sliced and so good. I need to try the Reuben but i can’t help but order pastrami every time. Little Deli is everything you want from a place like this. The Italian sub was so good, honestly needed salt, but tasted super fresh and the bread is soft. The sub was great leftover too - didn’t get soggy whatsoever.

My mom works in the area and I was meeting her for lunch, we were both craving a sub and chose this place specifically because they also serve pizza which is perfect because I have a four-year-old and one year-old who love pizza. When we first pulled up, we almost left because it looked super packed outside and being 39 weeks pregnant, I didn’t know if I could handle the heat but ended up deciding to stay after finding a table in the shade and that was probably the best decision I made that day. I think this might be the best sub I have ever had and I love me a sub. All of their ingredients seemed high-quality. I got the club sub which comes with turkey ham, bacon, and provolone. they’re bacon was perfect. I’ve been to many places where the bacon is just OK. I definitely plan on coming back to this place. The pizza by the slice was also good 10 out of 10 if you’re in the area this place is worth trying.

Little Deli has been my favorite neighborhood place for more than a decade. The corned beef, pastrami, and chicken salad are fantastic. The pizza is good but not as good as the corned beef. The restaurant is very small with only maybe half a dozen tables inside. There is some outdoor seating which is great in the fall in the spring, but not so much in the winter or the summer!

Pizza was fine but the crust on it was great (chewy and glutinous!!!!). My slice was warmed up halfway, where the bubbles from the initial bake were still translucent beneath the plasticy, cheesy surface. Not a great texture, but better …

Sigh, I am so frustrated with this place. When I first started coming here years ago (mid 2010s?) it was fantastic. Real NY type slices, thin, cooked well, and they actually had unbreaded eggplant (if you know you know). …

Great little restaurant we use often. Simple, hot and fast, always tasty, always helpful. Great to sit outside - more space there. Can't fault the food, pizza and sandwiches always delight.

I am in from out of town. Was Jonesing for a good deli sandwich. This place popped up on the search. Down here it seems hard to find a deli that gets it right. Like a real deli. Same with pizza places. Remarkably, this place nailed both of them. The sandwich was great. The meat was very thin, nearly shaved and piled on. I love the poppyseeds on the rolls. If the rules were just a little bit better, this would have been a 5 star (wanted to give it a 4.5). The pizza was great as well. Great crust, great tangy, tomato sauce, would’ve liked just a little bit more cheese on it, but it was really good. And the staff, they do it right when they hire these folks. Fantastic service. Highly recommend this place. It was packed when I pulled up and I figured that was a good sign but once I got my food and took a few bites I understood why it’s packed. Great place.

Every time for me is a turkey mozzarella on a Kaiser roll and I’m obsessed. I’ve also had all the pizza salads and dessert over the years and I’m never disappointed. It’s my favorite neighborhood spot!

If you are in Austin & looking for a great sandwich shop - look no further - Little Deli is the place! Tucked away in a little 1950’s strip center - a hidden gem

We tried it on the second day they were open. Clean, well set up, well stocked, ready for business. Friendly staff, food was good, prices were reasonable, convenient location for us. Lots to like and we will definitely come back, but . . . I personally had the Italian sub, and frankly I've had better. Bread was fresh and the sandwich was OK, but it was mostly bread with sparse other ingredients. I'm going to try the pizza next time, because as much as I hate to say it, I'd take Jersey Mike's over the sandwich I had here.
