  We visited Verace Italian Restaurant for a special occasion, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere is luxury-casual—elegant yet relaxed —making it perfect for groups and celebrations. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine, and the servers were excellent, kind, and attentive, making us feel truly taken care of. The focaccia with high-quality olive oil and balsamic was a great start. The wood-fired Pizza Regina was perfect, and the seafood tagliatelle, along with the steamed fish, were outstanding, beautifully cooked, crunchy yet tender, served with vegetables and garnished with pickled onion and garlic. The strawberry citrus drinks were refreshing 👍🏻. The dessert was unforgettable: the hazelnut ice cream was wow, with an amazing aftertaste, and the crème brûlée was also perfect. We paid around $200 on the pricier side, but it was absolutely worth it for the food, service, and overall experience. Highly recommended for special occasions and group dining.

  Loved everything about the restaurant. Went there yesterday to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday and we were so glad we chose Versace. Our server Grant realized we were celebrating a special milestone birthday and without even mentioning he brought a complimentary blue cheese ice cream and a cute single candle. Best evening, money well spent!

  We were craving Italian food and came across Verace Italian Restaurant in the heart of Downtown Oakville. From the moment we walked in, our server Grant made us feel truly welcome. He patiently walked us through the menu and helped us choose great options based on what we were craving. We started with wine and beer, paired with complimentary bread, before sharing a pasta and pizza. Everything from the food and drinks to the dessert was absolutely delicious. The ambience was relaxing, the restaurant was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We definitely recommend Verace and look forward to coming back to try more dishes! 10/10 congratulations!

  My boyfriend and I had the most incredible NYE dinner experience. The restaurant featured a special menu. We tried the Venison carpaccio, burrata and beet salad (with the most amazing lavender honey), mushroom pizza and the duck breast and leg as our main. We couldn’t decide what we liked more. Everything was spectacular — personally, I think the duck was a standout. It was so juicy, crispy and tender. We ended our meal with a delicious blueberry crostata with a side of vanilla gelato. This was a truly memorable experience. One of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to. I can’t wait to go back and try the pasta.

  This was our first stop as we arrived in Oakville (also for the first time). We were warmly greated by an extremely polite and welcoming hostess, then seated in the cozy tables next to the kitchen. The ambiance was great, the staff was phenomenal, and the food was perfect. We had the Mushroom Arancini to start, which was mind blowing (the tomato sauce was perfectly flavored and the arancini crust and filling were impeccable), then we had an order of the Papardelli Funghi & Tartuffo and the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina. Mushrooms on the Papardelli were super fresh, I could eat them off a bowl. And the Gnocchi was super fluffy. This was the perfect start to our trip. Also the espressos were marvelous to close everything off. Ps: a few days later we ordered their pizzas to eat at our hotel. Margerita and Quattro Formaggi. Also extremely well made neapolitan pizzas!!

  A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful family and friends for joining us in celebrating Sonia’s birthday at Verace Italian Restaurant. It was a truly memorable evening filled with fine cuisine, classic Croatian vintage wines, and exceptional hospitality. A special thank you to our dear colleagues Georges and Roxanne for the fantastic walnut supreme birthday cake, a delicious masterpiece enjoyed by all. We are also deeply grateful beautiful flowers brought by our good friend Rania, adding an extra touch of elegance to the celebration. My sincere appreciation to the outstanding Verace team: Alexandra, Michele, Aurora, and Tamara for organizing and flawlessly executing every detail. Your professionalism, warmth, and care made the evening unforgettable!!!

  Verace continues to be our favorite place to eat. Food is great, but even better is that I always feel we got more value than the bill (which is rare today) and always feel like we had an experience. The staff are super fantastic and have never disappointed. The rakija menu is the cherry on top.

  Excelent food and great service by friendly people . It was hard to chose there were many greate options , I personal had octopus which was excelent cooked . Make reservation in time .

  We had my daughter & son in-laws wedding dinner reception here and everything from the food to the service was EXCELLENT. Our wait staff Christina & Mavis were incredible, the manager Igor was so nice. Thank you to chef, Manny. The food was absolutely delicious. I recommend this place. You will not be disappointed…especially if you’re a foodie.

  From the moment we set foot into the VERACE RESTAURANT. We were greeted with not one but 2 sweethearts that were eager to welcome us and serve. The great service reminded us of Almafi Coast. We ordered an assortment of foods, and weren't disappointed with anything. Lorena was our server. She made us feel like family. The male servers were just as eager to serve us. The service was impeccable. We had a lovely girl for a hostess name Bella. To all Italian food lovers. YOU GOTTA EAT HERE.
