Pretty tasty and chill pizza spot. I liked both the margherita pizza and the fungi pizza. Both tasted really good and were cooked really nicely. It had both the sauce and the crispness that pizza requires Service was also really fast and attentive. After ordering the pizzas came out nice and quickly. Overall it was a nice pizza experience and would definitely come back and try other pizzas.

The margarita pizza was bitter, black, with burned areas on the bottom. It was returned and was not added to the bill. The angel hair pasta was not bad. The burnt garlic was an amazing addition. The server was kind and accommodating but the food taste was not up to the mark!!

Extremely tasty food! This is not the Cheesecake Factory so don't expect 10,000 choices and the ability to modify the food. Our party of 3 adults and 2 kids were all happy with our food. The only small "issue" is that we tried most of their desserts and one of them (I forget which one) was just OK while the other 3 of 4 were fantastic.

We have been coming here for years and it is still the best pizza on the Peninsula. Good salads as well, but the pizza is what this is about. The is true Napoletana style pizza and designed to be eaten fresh out of the oven. You can get it to go but you are degrading the experience. If you are looking for thick crust American style, this will not be a good fit. Limited wine selection.

Great dinner, we especially loved the Insalata Tricolore and Del Carcerato pizza. Dessert was excellent, glad we saved room. Pizzas are a good size for 2 people to share.

The real Napoli certified pizzeria. The pizza was so good and there were many kinds of pasta and delicious! It will be even better with kids menu!

Hands down the best pizza around... wood-fired, crispy, chewy pizza. Highly suggest the Napoletana with house-made sausage. Better than Delfina and far more reasonable.

The worst pizza ever! We got two different ones and they were filled with liquid and grease. Literally could not pick up a slice as it was complete liquid. Waitress did not come to the table until after we attempted to eat it. We had someone from work with us so I didn't want to hunt her down to complain. We just ate some of it and left the place. Will never return.

The owner is rude and arrogant. The food is good but the staff suck. I enjoy a dessert and a glass of wine on my way home but I am now barred because I didn’t order a main meal. Not sure this is legal and will report back.

first night here were walked over to this pizzeria from the hotel. Just tired and not wanting to drive anywhere, we looked up this place and sat outside. The service was good, the Italian ambience was great as was the Italian beer and the pizza was excellent.

First - indoor dining at Napoletana is open!!! We've been going to Napoletana Pizzeria in Mountain View (next to Cost Plus, World Market) for years. If you've been to Rome or Naples, this is the pizza you would get. And very difficult to find here in the States. It is a perfect thin crust, with bubbly edges slightly charcoaled from the brick oven. The pizza-maker/owner uses the best ingredients. The tomato sauce is ever so slightly sweet (Marzano tomatoes, I'm guessing), and combined with the cheese, makes the pizza juicy delicious! Napoletana makes 13 different pizzas and one calzone. They don't do substitutions, because their pizza conforms to the AVPN certification for authentic Neapolitan pizza. I don't know of any other pizza place in the Bay area that has this certification. You can check on the AVPN website. But that's just the certification. Most important, is the flavor! They offer pizzas with and without tomato sauce. Our favorite without is the Del Cafone. This is homemade Italian fennel sausage, rapini (broccoli rabe) and smoked mozzarella. I love the contrast of the sausage and rapini. The pastas are also very, very good - but it took me many visits to be able to order anything but the pizza. Salads also delicious. And there are frozen desserts he brings in from Italy that are to die for - chocolate and limoncello! Oh, and they play great jazzy, lounge music. Feels like you're in a club. I see that there are a couple reviews that are not favorable. I think these reviewers are not familiar with authentic Italian pizza. If you want thick American pizza, go to Round Table. They use good ingredients, but it's not Italian.
