Recommended by a friend so decided to try it out. Had a reservation. Initially, led outside (when I had booked an inside res) so let staff know. Also, super weird placement for staff to have all the outdoor utensils and cups at a high traffic area at the front. A lot busier than expected. Two of us ordered: nectarine salad $14 marechiaro $25 bistecca $42 margherita pizza $19 limoncello spritz $15 almanac hazy ipa $9 Overall, food was ok. Nothing really stood out. A bit disappointed on the main entrees.

Ordered bufalina. Oh the pizza sauce was so well made, one of the best!!! The cheese was fresh. Crust was crisp but i wish it wasn’t burnt in some places as i absolutely love to eat the crust haha. Also loveeeed the lighting. Its located at a very cute street. Nice to have dinner and then take a cute stroll. And ..Good variety of vegetarian options!

One of Mountain View’s best Italian spots. They do a mean Neapolitan-styled pizza. Try their white namesake pizza with prosciutto and burrata. Definitely a crowd-pleaser! We enjoyed the Squid Ink pasta the most vs. the wild boar fettuccine. $35+/pax (including tip) without alcohol. It gets just during the lunch peak and weekends so reserve early! Visiting from Singapore!

First time visiting this chain and overall it was pretty good. The fish was solid and the pear pizza was unique in a good way, more of a sweet savory pizza. Outdoor atmosphere was good too, wouldn't mind visiting again. Pricing wise they are relatively in line for other similar experiences.

I was honestly expecting an overpriced small pizza. I was pleasantly surprised! We took the Doppio Zero and the Carciofina. They are very different and both are tasty. The chili pepper on the Carciofina were brutals though, beware! Portions were more than enough, and the highlight was definitely the quality of the pizza bread. Tasty, perfect thickness and texture, and cooked to perfection. Don't forget to ask for your free basket of bread when you arrive, it is delicious, and the mix of olive oil and balsamic with is delicious.

We were celebrating an event, and when we finished eating we were having a nice conversation. And that was when a server told us that other people were waiting for that table. We eat out often, but I don't remember another time when we were told to clear out. Quite rude

We grabbed some fried calamari and shrimp and a margarita pizza with Italian salami at Doppio for dinner. The food was pretty good - the pizza was a bit doughy in some places (maybe not fully cooked?). I liked the indoor / outdoor seating since we sat indoors but were close to the window so it felt like outdoors but it was super loud and we had to talk pretty loud to hear each other. The service was attentive and friendly.

Three visits in two weeks. Superb service from charming servers who know the menu well and were able to give us excellent advice. The wine list by the glass is extensive with both New World and Italian reds and whites. Large pours with good value. My two nieces had both their speciap cocktails which they found lively and tasty and on other occasionstraditional manhattans which they savored. The salads and broccolini were delicious with garlic , shaved parmesan, lemon, and top of the line olive oil. Healthy ordering is highly prized here. In the three cisits I’ve tried the seafood pasta, which I would order every time if I weren’t so curious to see if other menu items were as tasty. The wild boar is ridiculously good as was the salmon. The pizza w truffle oil was also a ddelight. The one shortcoming was the lasagna. While full flavored and not too fatty, the noodles were badly overcooked leaving it with a mushy texture. It is very reasonably priced and the portions are large enough to be shared. I’m coming back soon.

Located in the downtown area of Mountain View, Doppio Zero is a pizzeria in demand, given the lines & waiting time of 30 minutes or more. With a combination of indoor & alfresco seating and excellent pizzas on offer, it is certainly a restaurant worth visiting.
