Pizza Lovers say: "Pizzas are off the chain, especially the Margherita, and daily dishes are delicious. Service can be slow, and the rest of the menu is overpriced."

The restaurant has moved in Nov. 2024 from the old location 1-28-9 Aobadai, Meguro to 1-14-17 Aobadai, Meguro. It was about a 5 min walk from Nakameguro station, towards the Starbucks Reserve Roastery, away from the main road, and right by the river. I went there for lunch with friends during the weekday, which opens at 11:30am. Da Isa does not take reservations for lunch, so expecting long queues, I arrived around 11am, first in line, and people started to queue after. The restaurant is fairly spacious, lots of 2 ppl, 4ppl, and 6ppl tables, and a few outside terrace seats. Ordering was done through the mobile by scanning the QR code on the table. There were some technical difficulties right after the restaurant opened. We could access the site, but could not progress to see the menu. They had physical menus (you had to ask for them) in English/Italian and Japanese. I wished the staff were able to take orders from us, but we had to wait about 5 minutes for mobile ordering system issue to be resolved, and then were then able to order online. Prices for lunch were on the high side, with Pizzas starting from 2,800 yen, and drinks around 800 yen. There were more than 10 different choices of Pizza on the lunch menu. We enjoyed the Pizzas, they were soft and thin-based, tasted nice, but wouldn't say it was exceptional. Service was OK, could have been friendlier.

I always wonder how these extremely average Resturants get famous. In this case how in world has this place won 5the top 50 pizza award. Is it that they won and then the quality just goes down? Bread was thin and ok in general but tomato sauce was overwhelming and had no real flavor. Honestly I’m being kind giving it a 3 considering the award - it should be a 2. Service was bad but at least for Japan it is a big restaurant with a lot seats. I would not go out of my way to come here! Disappointing.

Pizza is nice but serving is a bit slow , probably too many diners during Sakura illuminations. I went there without reservations, was able to get a table for two. I like this place because it’s dog friendly. Margarita pizza is nice but too little basil leaves.

Nice pizza , as an average good Neapolitan one. However, the rest of the menu is pretty bad executed and price are too high. To go just for a good pizza taste and a nice dessert as dinner end.

This place is a gem. We ate here twice in three days. Restaurant is big and carries a big number of people. You have a good chance walking in. We had no issues as a group of 4. Pizzas are off the chain. They also have daily dishes which are not necessarily on the menu so always ask. Grilled chicken with potatoes was also very delicious. The eggplant dish was also great and kind of tasted like a pizza with charred cheese on top. The pizza’s ofcourse were amazing. Most of the crowd are locals which is a good indication that this is a much loved spot.
