Lovely restaurant, the atmosphere was amazing and the staff friendly. We have been travelling across Europe for the last month and this was the best priced restaurant we have been to yet, for two pizzas, a dessert and drinks it came to less than €25. Brilliant quality, wood oven cooked pizza. Very impressed. We went just before the ‘lunch rush’ at about 12:30, service was so speedy and they cook the pizza in front of you. So much choice and all extremely affordable. Only a 5 minute walk away from a lovely park and the leaning tower. Couldn’t recommend more!

A very decent and authentic Neapolitan pizzeria. Expect super fresh ingredients, expert pizza chef skills (if you care to watch), and an A-typical local Italian atmosphere (the all-male staff were all watching Italian football on the TV while we were eating!). I’d come again next time I’m in Pisa. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of their service (lack of warmth and smiles - a little goes a long way).

Our AirBnb host suggested this place. I have to say I’ve gotten a little skeptical of such recommendations (why I provide so many Google reviews and usually look at them is that many people’s opinions are a better guide than a single preference), but this was a good one. I think some form of telepathy was at play given how quickly our order arrived. The pizza and calzone were classic. I took a leap of faith on the dessert as I didn’t understand the options, but I believe the green thing pictured is a classic Sicilian dessert called cassata (do your own due diligence) - that was not one I’d repeat. The prices are very reasonable. You may want to check your translator app before selecting your dessert … the other pictured item, which I believe is something lemon may be a better pick.

The best restaurant in Pisa. If you want to feel real italian atmosphere (not touristic),you should visit this place. Perfect pizza for 5-9€ (not for 12-15€ like in the city centre),good seafood,delicious pasta,tasty risotto. Bellissimo 👍🏻 If we ever return to Pisa,we will certainly have our meal in Bella Napoli.
