We took pizzas for take away several times, service was always great, prices were ok, pizzas were nice too, I don't see how this could be a tourist trap like other reviewers said, prices are clearly on the menu, cheapest pizza is 6 euro, nowhere near a tourist trap and i have seen a lot during the years.

The setting is pleasant, with a nice grassy area and easy parking. Service was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing — the pizza was chewy, and the fritto misto lacked flavor and quality.

We came in day there was an amazing storm. Food and service were good but it's definitely upmarket since we came before Covid. Wine list is 'interesting'.

The food was mediocre at best. A lot of options we wanted were sold out, leaving us to choose generic options. The pizzas were not above you could get at most cafes. The food is also overpriced. The staff was chewing gum with an open mouth and hardly paying attention to the customers. The restaurant with the involved waiters and great local food was nowhere to be found. Cocktails were pretty good though.

Should you be in Donnalucata, Ristorante•Pizzeria “A Varcuzza”has to be on your culinary/foodie list ... The food is amazing ... The vibe and groove is simply chill with style ... Right by the beach ... Outdoor seating in the back ... Bartholomeo is a gracious and engaging host with an excellent taste in fresh local ingredients, local craft beers, wines, amaros and a tasteful liquor selection ... The Crudo di Pesce is a must have antipasto for seafood lovers 🤩🤩 ... The Primi and Secondi selections will satisfy any Italian cravings ... Add to all this a lovely Dolci and you’ve got an amazing night out or a super lunch.
