  il Pacchero - pizza e cucina was an absolute standout. My husband and I were visiting Italy for the first time. From Rome we drove to the south of Florence for a quick day trip. What a BEAUTIFUL place! The people, shops, etc. The food… nothing is more satisfying when you enter an establishment, that’s very unassuming. We wanted a quick bite and the moment we walked in to il Pacchero - pizza e cucina, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed — so kind, warm, and attentive in a way that feels rare. You can tell they truly care about every guest who comes through the door. The food was incredible! Every dish tasted fresh and authentic, and you can really feel the passion behind the cooking. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while serving beautifully prepared food. I couldn’t recommend it more.   We came here for quick lunch while strolling around. The pizza’s are really good, we ordered margherita pizza and side dish with potato croquettes and everything was really delicious. Please bear in mind that the restaurant charges service fee as extra, ours was 6 euros for 2 people. The restaurant has good view of the Vasari bridge if you get to sit near the windows.

  Perfect, I am an amateur pizzaiolo and this has to be the best pizza I've had so far on my trip. Perfect dough, great ingredients. Really enjoyed it.

  Sublime pizza’s, tasted delicious. Prices were normal. Good wines , excellent service. Atmosphere is pleasant. Interior modern classic! We come back, well done.

  We found it by chance just walking the street, walked in just because the owner was so nice to us, and it was the best decision. The pizza is absolutely amazing, and the pasta pomodoro was the best we had not just in Florence but in all of italy. I don’t usually write reviews but it was the first thing we thought about when the food came- how is this place not full?? We obviously came back the next night, and we wished we had more nights here so we could come again. If you’re looking for high quality Italian food you have to eat here. Don’t miss this place!!

  Wonderful restaurant! The lasagna was absolutely delicious with rich layered flavor, and the pizza had perfectly crispy crust. The service was thoughtful and attentive from start to finish. Highly recommend dropping by!

  In our first evening in Florence we stopped by here for dinner. The food was really good. One of the best pizzas I've had in Italy. The service was very good but the view was amazing! We got a spectacular view if the Arno and it was a fabulous experience.

  I can tell you that this is among the top 50 pizza restaurants in all of Italy, and the judges were right. They use fresh ingredients without skimping them, the lasagna is also very good, the decor is simple and elegant, the service is excellent thanks to the owner, and the prices are reasonable and won't break the bank.
