  Hands down the best deep dish pizza in all of Chicago, the crust is absolutely perfect, and they use so many toppings so you are insanely full after one slice. Came on a Saturday at noon and I'm glad we made a reservation as it was packed, and it's obvious why, the pizza here is so good. I'd recommend two smalls for two people, because that way you have leftovets, and you def want left overs. We did the pequods salad (5/5) and it was great, pair with the garlic dressing. For pizza we did two smalls, one with pepperoni, Italian sausage and Canadian bacon (5/5) this was so amazing, my wife did pepperoni and black olives which was also good. They have a full bar with beers and liquor as well. This is the best spot for deep dish pizza with tons of TVs to watch any games that are on.

  Totally average deep dish, people LOVE it though. You may need to love deep dish or bread. We got delivery from here on a Saturday night, around 5pm it was a quick delivery. We got a mushroom, and meatball deep dish. It was dry, even with having ordered extra Marinara, garlic sauce, blue cheese, and Caesar. The grease never comes through to make the deep dish bread soft. It also didn’t have enough cheese. Again a grease issue. It was fine though, not the best pizza I have ever had. We also go a thin crust style pepperoni pizza which has a thicker crust than a traditional thin crust style and if it was thinking of its self as tavern style it was wrong. But that pizza was better than the deep dish. Although the crust was like a stale bread. For an appetizer we got the mozzarella triangles. Because they were delivered they were not hot and they were not too good. Also thy came with 5.. which was annoying. Overall fine / average food.

  Oh Great, Another "Hidden Gem" I’ll Never Forget I’ve spent years trekking through the Andes, navigating the souks of Marrakech, and dining in the finest bistros of Paris, all in a desperate attempt to become a cultured human being. And for what? So I could come to a dark room in Chicago and realize that my entire life’s journey has been a joke compared to a 10-inch circle of burnt cheese. The Global Disappointment The Crust: I’ve seen the sun set over the Serengeti, but apparently, the only "golden hour" that matters is the one where they caramelize a thick wall of double cheese against a cast-iron pan. It’s a crispy, salty, pepperoni-laden middle finger to every artisan baker I’ve met in Europe. The Defeat: I’ve climbed mountains, yet I was brought to my knees by five measly inches of pizza. I had to stop halfway through, not because I was full, but because I realized I could no longer look my passport in the eye. The "Best" Problem: Do you know how annoying it is to visit 40 countries and have to tell people the best thing you ever ate was served in a pan that looks like it hasn't been washed since the 1980s? It's humiliating. "I went looking for the soul of the world, and I found it under a layer of crispy pepperoni in a Chicago basement. My travel agent is fired." Congratulations, Pequod's. You’ve successfully ruined my ability to enjoy "authentic" food anywhere else on Earth. I hope you're happy with yourselves, because I’m certainly not—I’m just full and incredibly annoyed that I have to come back here.

  10/10. Absolute hammer. I’ve eaten my way through Chicago’s deep-dish Mount Rushmore. Lou’s. Giordano’s. Art of Pizza. All excellent. All respected. Then there’s Pequod’s Pizza. This isn’t pizza. This is a religious experience with a caramelized crust. The edges are crispy, cheesy, borderline illegal in at least three states. The sauce knows exactly when to talk and when to let the cheese do the work. Every bite is aggressive, confident, and somehow perfectly balanced. If other deep-dish spots are valedictorians, Pequod’s is the kid who skipped class, still aced the test, and stole your girlfriend on the way out. Come hungry. Wear pants with forgiveness. Expect to rethink every pizza opinion you’ve ever had. Gold medal. No notes. 10/10. Would absolutely ruin my evening plans again.

  Sadly first time in chicago and first time having a pizza in town. Was recommended to come here but staff were rude and unhelpful. Signage and advertising states open till midnight so they said take iut only at 10:50pm. Loads of seating available and stress in the workforce due to "under staffing", we were treated like it was our fault. Its a shame, I may come back to try another time but im my first impressions of evening chicago pizza has been terrible... Food was fine as we took it to the abandoned frog pub around the corner who were really welcoming and hospitable!

  excellent deep dish pizza. it is a classic pizza joint. You need a reservation for dinner even on a weeknight.

  Another stop on my Pizza tour....excellent Deep Dish Pizza - tried the Sausage and Cheese. Service was fantastic as well - make sure to make reservations.

  Tried on a recommendation. We’ve tried all the other major Chicago style pizzas. This was good, not our favorite though. Service was great. Make sure you have a reservation!

  Caesar salad was nothing special, but as always the deep dish pizza was fantastic!
