Best Italian food I’ve ever had- better than the food in Italy. Fantastic serving sizes and great sharing portions. My favorite it the hot honey pizza, linguine, and Caesar salad. Service is always great. Noise level can be loud but I didn’t mind it at all. Honestly can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

Had a nice dinner here last night. It came highly recommended to me and was absolutely packed so k was excited to try it. We had a great table outside which was great to watch the sunset from. The food was solid, not anything to write home about in my opinion, but good fresh pastas and some nice wine. A little pricey but so is everything else in the area. Overall would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a solid Italian meal in yountville

A Ghost of Its Former Self This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. My pork chop was unbelievably overcooked—by far the most well-done, joyless piece of meat I’ve encountered. My daughter’s “cacio e pepe” was a sad potato cake that bore no resemblance to the dish. The focaccia was equally disappointing—dry, late, and served with no butter, no olive oil, no balsamic. By the time those finally appeared, the main courses were already there. Service was poor, food was worse, and it felt like nothing came out of that kitchen with any care or love. This place is truly a ghost of its former self.

Whoa. Yummm. Impressive. Delicious. Those were all adjectives that were thrown out as we were eating our meal at Ciccio. We took part in our outdoor dining experience after a winery experience. I am not a huge Italian cuisine fan but this was superior to any other of my Italian experiences (close to what I actually had in Italy). To start, we ordered the spicy cucumber crudo, the Caesar salad, and the roasted eggplant. I can’t pick a favorite. They were all worth fighting over the last bite for. The cucumbers did have a kick to them. The eggplant was flavorful and perfectly cooked. And the Caesar salad was not only a huge portion, but the best one I have ever had. Our group decided to get two pizzas to share as our entrees. Their fermented crust was mind blowing. We got the avocado and Nardello pizzas. Nardello came out first and it was the perfect amount of heat. Then the avocado came out. At first we all said we were enjoying the Nardello (sausage) one better but then the avocado one grew on us. The flavor combination and smoothness of the avocado made it something to be devoured. Our whole experience here was impeccable and I would HIGHLY recommend this be on your list if you are in the area.

We were staying over the road from this restaurant at the top end of Yountville and having been on a vineyard tour earlier in the day, where we were pretty well fed, we decided that we wanted to share a pizza for dinner. We hadn't booked and when we arrived around 7.30pm the restaurant was full, but they offered to seat us at the bar. It is a quaint little restaurant with a nice vibe to it. Being at the bar, we got instant service and watched our drinks being prepared. The pizza arrived quickly too. The only downside to being at the bar. is that you have your back to the rest of the restaurant. The pizza was perfect and all in all the price was pretty reasonable, even if it wasn't in Yountville.

Delicious food, great service, and loved the wine selection. It was very busy so reservations are a must. I booked the week prior for a Saturday night and it was already limited as to availability.

We made 7:00 pm reservations for our party of 5 a few weeks prior for a Monday night dinner and are glad we did as every table was filled. We were placed in a booth with was tight for the 3 ladies seated on one side. We paid the $25 per bottle corkage fee for bringing 2 bottles of wine. Starters were lamb ribs, focaccia and Cesar salad. All were fantastic and delivered quickly after ordered. Next was burnt peppercorn bucatini and mushroom pizza which were flavorful. The final course was a tomahawk steak with sour corn polenta. We requested medium rare and the steak was very rare. We were fine with this but another diner might have sent it back. It was a good steak but nothing earth shattering. We ordered one of each of the dishes served and felt it was the perfect amount of food for the 5 of us. Service was prompt, attentive without being invasive. The only drawback to our experience was the extreme noise level which made conversation a bit of an effort. This is not a quiet intimate setting.

All, but one of our dishes were uniquely poor. Our server never poured the wine, not one time. We complained that some dishes were so poorly executed that we could not eat them. Regrettably, they did nothing!!! We even had to stand up and go to the kitchen to request new plates as we were not willing to eat the nasty food that was on our plates. It must be so shocking that we did not want to use the same plates, covered in bad food, for the next dish. This restaurant is indifferent and ridiculous in my opinion. Extremely disappointing!
