Ernesto’s Pizza is consistently excellent. From the sauce to the dough to the cheese, everything is high quality and always on point. It’s the perfect spot to grab a great pizza and a beer without the hassle of full service.

You wouldn't expect anything great by just looking at it. Small, seems busy, not new. You would say a hole in the wall. Then you get to the counter and see all the selections of pizza they have. I ordered a plain pie and it's only $20. You could order a beer also if you want. Interesting. I paid the man and about 10 min later, he came with the pie. When i say this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had, I am not joking. I've had pizza in Italy, I make my own. So I'm from NJ so we have some really good pizza between us and NYC. This is up there with those pizzas. Great undercarriage, lots of semolina on it, no flop. Sauce is on the sweeter side but not overly which made it so good. Cheese is fantastic. Tastes like Grande but can't be sure. The people next to us had 2 meetball slices and they were commenting on every bite. They loved it. I would assume pizza this good should be closer to that $30 range. This is a steal. It is great, in the heart of little Italy. Can't recommend it enough. You're in Boston, it's worth a stop. Then head over to Mike's Pastry for dessert!

Ernesto’s Pizza is a gem in Boston’s North End! The pizza was excellent, with huge, satisfying slices that are perfect for a hearty meal. Located right in the heart of the historic neighborhood, it’s a great spot to grab a slice while exploring Delicious pizza in a prime location!

Be aware this isn't a super thin NYC style slice - it's quite a bit thicker with a lot of cheese. That's not a bad thing, and the base is super crispy - great flavor. But the slices are huge, can't be split, and have a bit of weight to them! I could normally knock back 2-3 NY slices but struggled with one of these. Place is busy with locals and came recommended by many people around town, so clearly popular (maybe the style is a regional thing I'm not used to!) Ultimately it's the sort of place you might stop after a few beers. Not up market or pretending to be something it isn't - which is just what I expected and I can't complain!

So far this has been the best slice I've had in Boston. Good amount of cheese with a nice touch of char, delicious sauce and the perfect undercarriage with no flop. Believe it or not, this was actually one slice too, they had to cut it in half lol. Make sure to stop by for a pie (or at least a slice)!

This place was excellent. The pizza was extremely delicious and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere even thought it was small and cramped it was still really good and not going out the door like Regina’s! This place should be one of the best places around and will come back soon!

My god, the pizza was amazing, crispy crust that snaps when you bend it, great selection of generous toppings, reasonable prices, will visit every time in North End

Sooo amazing!! best pizza in boston! “one slice” is actually 2 very large slices 😆 i am not complaining though! i recommend the sausage and ricotta pizza. there might not be seating when you are there, i was lucky enough too go when it wasn’t extremely crowded so i got a table but they filled quickly! they have some of the best pizza i have ever had. the crust is Perfect!! cheese is so fresh! would recommend if you are in boston area!

Although the interior has some tables, the people waiting in line are pretty much on top of you and it’s better to just take your food to go. Lots of outdoor park benches just a block away. As for the pizza, you absolutely do get a quarter of a pizza for what they call a slice — a great value. The pizza has a very good cheese blend and the crust has some nice substance to it. The sauce will appeal to some but possibly not others, in that it doesn’t have a lot of herbs and is arguably on the bland side. Overall, however, a really good pizza.

The pizza was EXCELLENT! Fresh, fast, and friendly! This was a visit during a family vacation. You can walk up or order ahead. We ordered a pizza to share, but you can also purchase by the slice. When purchasing by the slice, you actually get 2 slices of pizza. They’re huge and great!
