Pizza Lovers say: "Fantastic crust, extensive selection, and great service. Some found the appearance simple, but the pizza quality makes up for it."

Piccola Piedigrotta belongs to a class of top pizzerias in Italy. It’s up there among those that are well-respected, artistic in approach, quality-driven, and capable of competing in national rankings. Service is excellent.

I never thought a pizza could be so good when cooked in an electric oven instead of a wood oven. But this place proves it! I was late to make a reservation and they were fully occupied (in winter on a Tuesday night!). But they helped us (a group of 4) to have a seat at the bar. It was also a very good experience to be there right next to the oven, watching the master to create the pizza. Definitely, a place not to miss for pizza lovers!

The pizza here is fantastic! The menu offers an extensive selection, making it hard to choose. Both pizzas we ordered were excellent. The crust was perfectly baked and full of flavor. The toppings were generous without being overwhelming, with creative and delicious combinations. We absolutely loved the pizzas. The service was friendly, professional, efficient, and welcoming. Don’t let the simple appearance of the place deter you. Once you take your first bite, you won’t even notice it!

Stopped by for lunch. 3 people and we sat outside on a lovely day. Ordered 2 pizzas and a Calzone, which were very good. Staff was very prompt, courteous and kind. Inside was busy but it looked like things were running smoothly. It was really nice that it was off the beaten path.

Everything was great - big pizzas and very tasty, large selection of wines and quite a few beers. Good service. Would definitely recommend the cheesecake - the one with amarena cherries was very nice
