We came here for our pre-Christmas meal. The food is lovely. The pizza and starters were yummy and taste authentic. Service is great too. It was quite busy though when we were there. The deserts were ok but I’ve had better cheesecakes elsewhere.

I enjoy trying restaurants that appear in the Top 50 pizza lists during my travels. Since this place ranked number one on that list, I had added it to my notes as a must-try. It’s a bit outside the city center, but still easy to reach. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation time, and since there were available tables, we didn’t experience any issues. The service staff was very polite and attentive. What we ordered: • Margherita: Tasty and well-balanced. • Ricordi D’Infanzia (their signature pizza ranked #1): Very flavorful. We picked up notes similar to shredded meat, parmesan, and a bolognese-style sauce. We also tried the tiramisu afterwards. The flavor was good, though the cream could have been more generous. Prices: • Margherita: £13 • Ricordi D’Infanzia: £18.9 • Tiramisu: £8.5 Plus an additional 12.5% service charge is added to the bill. Overall, it was a pleasant experience—definitely worth trying for the pizzas.

Lovely doughy award winning pizza! Well known for winning the best pizza in prize in Europe, this place doesn't disappoint! The margarita was perfect, tasty tomatoe sauce and soft chewy dough including the crust. I highly recommend!

Tried Napoli On The Road in Chiswick and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I ordered the Cheesewick pizza and an espresso, and both were excellent. The Cheesewick is a proper flavour bomb in the best way, creamy buffalo ricotta, fior di latte and stracciatella give it that rich, soft base, while the crispy Parmigiano Reggiano chips add texture. The Blue Stilton brings a bold punch, and the homemade Piennolo cherry tomato jam cuts through with just the right sweet-savoury balance. Genuinely memorable. Service was solid as well, friendly, efficient, and well-paced. I made a reservation in advance, so I didn’t have to wait for a table, which made the whole visit feel easy and organised. I’ll definitely be back. This place knows what it’s doing.

Not only were we left waiting for 15 minutes despite having a reservation, but the experience worsened once we ordered dessert. We were served a millefoglie that had alcohol on top (likely rum), which was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Fortunately, we noticed in time — my friend has a severe alcohol allergy, and this could have led to a very serious reaction. What’s particularly concerning is that no one asked about allergies at any point, which is a basic standard in hospitality and food safety. To make matters worse, the staff still charged us for the millefoglie instead of offering any form of apology or goodwill gesture. Overall, a disappointing and unprofessional experience, especially considering the potential health risk involved.

Really disappointing and a case of the Emporer's new clothes? Have been seeking the best Pizza in London since the outstanding Pizzeria Castello in Elephant and Garden closed 20 years ago and had high hopes but this is definitely not it. Not sure if the grand master pizza maker himself was working the night we were in (didn't recognise him) so maybe that would make a difference but all the pizzas we had were bang average, somewhat soggy and served tepid. The pizza dough itself was fantastic, definitely right up there with the best but something wasn't right with the cook time or the time is sat on the pass before serving. I've had better pizzas in chains like Franco Manca let alone cheap eateries in Naples quite frankly and this place must do better to justify the prices being charged. Also have no idea how Europe's best Pizza is actually voted for or how these pizzas won it. The search continues...

I brought my parents and wife to Napoli on the Road after months of hype. It was a mid-afternoon dining time and we had the worst service I have experienced in my 14 years of living in London. Multiple other tables were sat and served before us. Our pizzas took nearly an hour(!) to arrive after the single salad that we had ordered as a side dish and arrived as a starter. There was no apology or comping of any part of the meal. An email was sent to the company to explain our severe disappointment which was not replied to. Hopefully they see this, and if not then if you are reading this then I would suggest looking elsewhere to go for a pizza in London. Not exactly the world's best pizza but was decent enough when it arrived. Very expensive for what you get.
