It's been a while since I last visited Gina Chicco. This Italian restaurant serves delicious oven-baked pizza. The pizza dough is chewy yet thin and easy to eat. The pasta is as thick as udon noodles. It's really good. The Spanish potato omelette is just the right size, and I would recommend everything here. Finishing off with gelato, today's dinner was very satisfying. I went with my daughter.

My daughter and I had lunch (booked in advance) just after the New Year. The pizza and pasta with homemade ginger were delicious. The pizza (quattro formaggi) was absolutely amazing, I don't know why it pairs so well with honey. *I'm also curious about the evening menu.

This was my first visit. We went sightseeing in Hirosaki after visiting the hot springs, and then had lunch. We had made a reservation in advance for lunch, which included an appetizer platter, so all we had to choose was a drink and pizza. Since it was our first time at this restaurant, we opted for a Margherita-style pizza, specifically a Margherita with half buffalo crust and a Marinara con acciuhe. For drinks, of course, since we were in Aomori, we chose apple juice! The appetizers included tomato bruschetta, scallop carpaccio, frittata, mozzarella and prosciutto, and mortadella and lettuce. The dressing is apparently highly rated, and it certainly was delicious! The scallops were also fresh, flavorful, and delicious! For the pizza, we started with the Margherita. The crust was light and fluffy, and melted in the mouth. The Marinara con acciuhe had plenty of tomato sauce, and the saltiness of the tomato sauce, the crust, and the amount of anchovies were just right, giving it a nice punch. It was quite good. Personally, I prefer my pizza well-done, but both sides were evenly cooked. Next time I visit, I'll ask for it well-done. Finally, I spoke with the pizza chef, and he was very friendly. He seemed to have studied and adapted the conte polanea style, and considering the way the crust was cooked, it made sense. It's a bit difficult to get to without a car, but it was popular and had a nice atmosphere. I also liked that you can buy dressings, pasta sauces, and other items from the vending machine outside without worrying about the time.
