Pizza Lovers say: "Authentic Neapolitan pizzas, especially the Regina with buffalo mozzarella, and fluffy garlic focaccia. Service can be slow and the crust sometimes underbaked."

The place was suggested by one of the Italian-born local hosts of our meeting as being one of the most authentic places. The company was great, the food was good and the service was terrible. The other 3 gentlemen ordered 2 pizzas, while I ordered ravioli. Notably ordered at the same time. And it is not to say that the pizzas were dropped instantaneously but after a reasonable wait. The came un-cut, and we asked the to please cut them. Miraculously, by the time they came back to the table, their cuts had already healed without major scars. And once the pizzas had been consumed, notably also not in a few minutes, the ravioli were still not in sight. Asked the waitress twice to check. Yes, yes, they are coming. They did not, and I canceled the order. Poor service. Would not recommend. There are literally uncountable better alternatives in London. (Originally posted by on yelp)

Came here 6yrs ago just before covid for hubby's birthday. Returned again today. Excellent pizza's still. Staff then and now absolutely brilliant and friendly. Amazing atmosphere.

We had supper at L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele just prior to seeing the play Mousetrap. They are a Neapolitan style pizza place; and, in many respects, it was just as though we were enjoying pizza in Naples. The Peroni beers we had reinforced the atmosphere. The only negative comment we have is the crust on the bottom wasn’t quite baked enough. We would definitely dine here again, but just ask the crust to be baked a bit longer.

Large, generously sized pizza with a thin, soft base and a small, tender border. A contrast with some areas / ingredients slightly burnt and overall consistency a bit too soft , the prosciutto/ham was overcooked and slightly crunchy. Tomato sauce was naturally sweet and mozzarella taste neutral. The overall flavour balance was good, though not quite as exceptional as expected. Drinks menu was limited , no draught beer, only two bottled options), and I found it pricey (£9 for a 330ml Peroni including service). The setting is average: upstairs is brighter but tables are very small; downstairs feels tight with low ceilings. Service was quick and friendly.

Amazing pizzeria! Regina pizza with fresh buffalo mozzarella was perfect, garlic focaccia fluffy and fragrant, penne arrabbiata spicy and rich. First time to try Peroni Gran Reserva, nice one. Friendly service, cozy vibe. Five stars, highly recommended, definitely returning. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Up there amongst the worst dining experiences ever. In context I have to say that I’m of the opinion that if you can’t leave a good review don’t leave any, but on this one I must breach my rule. Premises are cold, from what I could see there aren’t more than a dozen table. Constant traffic of delivery riders didn’t make my evening particularly pleasant so if you do come here please don’t sit anywhere near the front of the restaurant. The pizza was huge but tasteless, and the compulsory cover charge was hilarious for 1 minute slice of stale bread and a tiny cup of non specific murky oil. The waiter asked if it was to be taken away (my uneaten pizza) I’m not sure if he meant should he take it away or did I want to take it away at. In the event, he did neither…
