Pizza Lovers say: "Phenomenal dough, great Margherita and Pignatiello, but some found crust soggy or portions small for the price."

The dough at Pizzana was pretty phenomenal — light, chewy, and perfectly blistered. Our favorite pie of the night was the classic Margherita, simple and clean in the best way. The kale Caesar was also a highlight, though I wouldn’t have minded just a touch more dressing (and I’m usually the opposite!). Our least favorite was actually a recommendation from our server — the Diavola, I think? Something was definitely off; not just a flavor preference, but truly a little funky. Our waiter graciously removed it from the bill, which we really appreciated. The dining room could use a bit more softness or warmth to make it feel cozier, but maybe that’s just not the vibe they’re aiming for. Overall, we enjoyed it and I’d absolutely go back — especially for that Margherita.

The place overall is a 7.5/10, it has nice vibes and the staff are nice and attentive. The food is good overall, I would not classify it as over the top/extremely satisfying in taste and/or abundant in portion when equating it to price. For example, the Cacio is $27 for a pie, for that much I believe it could either be served slightly larger or receive a price reduction to $18-20 (more realistically). Nevertheless, I enjoyed the flavors of it overall. In addition, I ordered the bolognese and it tasted pretty standard. It just needed 2-3 more seasonings (which I added to my leftovers) to make it really flavorful and standout. I would go here again in the far future if someone else mentioned going but I would not necessarily return on my own request.

Listen… I looove a good thin crust pizza but Pizanna's crust was so thin that the center was very soggy, causing the pizza slices to cave in at the tip. The tomato sauce, pepperoni, and cheese tasted great but there isn't enough structural integrity to support them all. However, I ended up reheating the pizza/crust at home, and when properly crisped, the pizza tastes great. Pizza is on the smaller side. Overall, I decided to rate the pizza overall 4 stars since I did get to-go, which may have impacted the texture.

My friend and I visited on yesterday. Just fantastic. The manager recommended his favorites and his favorites did not disappoint. The Pignatiello pizza was delicious. The Torta al Limone for dessert. Service was top notch. Atmosphere is a cozy place and my friend and I did not have reservations. We were seated at the bar and that turned out to be the best thing. We will be definitely returning.

The place itself is very aesthetic and nice; The small ambiance was welcoming and inviting, and so were the waiters and waitresses. They offered suggestions on what to order, and provided us with warm smiles. The food was good for what it was; A little more on the expensive side, but it is in downtown Dallas, so I would have expected it to be. I ordered the brisket pizza, meatballs with garlic bread, and Caesar salad. Both the salad and meatball dishes were delicious. However, the pizza didn’t taste like anything renowned. The creamy, topped cheese overpowered the pizza itself, and for it being a brisket pizza, I could hardly taste the brisket or the sauce. (If I were to do anything differently, it would be to exchange the topped cheese for Gouda and add a drizzle of BBQ sauce on top.) Props to the chefs and waiters/waitresses though. They make the place all the more satisfying and enjoyable. Overall, tasty appetizers, decent pizza, aesthetically pleasing place, and good service. 6/10.

First time visiting this evening with friends where we enjoyed both the casual atmosphere and menu options. The four of us shared two salads - caprese and chopped, both tasty and fresh. Two great pizzas - the Funghi and Carnivore. Great crusts and gotta say the Funghi with caramelized onions was fantastic! Several drinks, beers, and no dessert came to $200, including tips for the four of us. Positive service experience.
