  Best pizza spot in town!!! Loved both the wood-fired pizza and the nonna. The crust was perfectly crispy and chewy on both, and loved the extra twice baked crunch on the nonna. Great flavors and fresh ingredients, and friendly service! The union salad is also standout, with the white beans and pine nuts. Expect a long wait, min 30 mins

  Food: So disappointing! Both pizzas had an off flavor and their crust was not tasty and were on the hard side. The cheese was also on the chewy side. Service: Nice staff but they got orders wrong and service was very slow. Atmosphere: They don’t take reservations so be prepared to wait. They have both inside and outside seating with a cozy vibe. We decided so seat outside but it took longer than expected as we were a party of four and their outside tables are for two.

  GREAT pizza. The dough is perfect! Ingredients tasted fresh and they have variety so there’s something for everyone or you can build your own. The place itself is giving more old school family vibes? Like typical Italian moms house, it’s cozy. I think they have patio/outdoor seating but the inside is small so I can see why wait times might get crazy here during lunch/dinner times. My favorite was Stacey’s mom pizza and the red sangria was amazing too.

  Surprisingly busy for a Thr night, but found ourselves at the bar w/ James. (Great Guy, helpful w/menu items!) We enjoyed the Meatball appetizer, Salad & Gem Pizza selection (sub'd Ricotta for Mozzarella) Incredible flavors & going back soon !

  We have made this our go to place for great pizza whenever we are in the Phoenix area. It's not that close to where we stay but it has always been worth the drive. After a less than usual experience on our visit last spring we decided we would seek an alternative but after searching decided to return again. Happy we did because our pizza was great! However next time we will skip the salad. It was definitely better before with large crisp romaine and Parmigiano cheese. Not so this time. The lettuce was chopped and the cheese was small bits akin to supermarket offerings. So you may want to skip the salad and order a beverage instead.

  First time at Lamp. Our server was great. We had a margarita pizza, they serve only one size, that’s six slices. It was delicious. Place was packed lots of takeout orders. Will return next time we are in Scottsdale.

  Met another couple for dinner upon their recommendation. they said that it gets crowded so we can meet at about 4PM when it opened. Wow, by 4:30 all tables filled, mostly bun locals since it is North Scottsdale. My friend came from the Biltmore area so I expected great. I was not disappointed. So many choices to meet demands. I had the white pie with soppresqte and ricotta. great. My wife had the pie with sausage, another n5 star. I would recommend but also wish they were unopened for lunch---at least on the weekend.

  The second time at Lamps could not replicate the delicious salad I had several weeks before that I deemed marvelous. I was determined to eat here several times a week. However, it all changed. The same salad was ordered and it looked tired and meek and seemingly was a completely different salad. The Union salad, first blush, was a fine dish with a lot of beans and an interesting mix. This same salad, the second time, forced me to ask the server where were the beans etc. She pointed one out, stating there is the beans and stated it must have been a different person preparing. Well, so goes any management overview of the food served. In addition, my dinner mate ordered the same salad, and side by side they appeared different. I sent my salad back and remain disapppointed. It is a very busy place, but in my case they failed the second time.
