  This place is the perfect place if you are looking for a healthy fresh meal or for the popular deep dish pizza of Chicago. You can build your own salad, you have plenty of options to pick from including vegetables, proteins, dressings. You will then pay for the total weight of the salad. You have options for dine in or to go. There is also warm food if you are looking for having lunch. Turmeric Chai Latte was amazing. Great service and atmosphere. There is plenty of room downstairs where you can enjoy your meal, remote work or just chill.

  Beatrix is my go to spot in the loop for coffee and lunch. Absolutely stellar coffee and the food options are always delicious and high quality. I love the downstairs dining area. Even when it's full, it still feels comfortable. If you somehow make it to the coffee bar when they still have honey butter cinnamon rolls you have to try one. They are incredible.

  Came for brunch on a Thursday. Food was perfect. Literally the best Orange juice I've had in my life! And eggs were cooked perfectly for me. Highly recommend this place and definitely get some bakery on the way out.

  I loooove this Beatrix Market and the only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is the hot bar service ends way before they close, the WiFi is a bit slow making it not ideal for coworking (even though the downstairs space is GREAT for it), and they don’t serve alcohol on Monday’s (they only serve during happy hour which is Tuesday-Friday). The first time I came was to cowork on a Monday and REALLY needed a cocktail after the workday lol. That’s when I found out they don’t serve alcohol even if it’s not happy hour. I came back with friends later in the week for happy hour, we arrived probably around 4:30, and the hot food bar was already packed away. I did get to enjoy from the salad bar, but my friend who isn’t a Chicago pizza fan (gasp!) felt limited in her options and ended up getting pizza anyways. The food is GREAT though, and the cocktails are yummy. I love the space, it is a very chill vibe and they even have events like trivia nights. The WiFi was a bit sluggish when I came to cowork but it could have been because many others were using it too. I would suggest bringing a hot spot for backup if you want to make sure your production isn’t interrupted. No complaints though, it works and it’s free! I love the market, I enjoy trying new drinks that I haven’t seen in other markets or bodegas, and the selection of choices for snacking or dining is outstanding. Very happy every time I visit!

  I've become really a fan of this place recently. They have a lot of options, and I'm just a sucker for being able to choose out your meal. It can be a bit pricier for pizza and baked goods, but the hot and salad bars are a great value imo.

  I found Beatrix Market in Chicago by accident but now I will shop and eat there whenever I’m in downtown Chicago. I was thrilled to find a large variety of healthy veggie options in the Salad Bar, a Hummus Bar, ready made sandwiches in the Grab and Go Bar, great coffee, pizzas and pastries. Dine in or takeout.

  Choose your own adventure. This seems to be the idea behind the Lettuce Entertain You Beatrix Market concept; diners here can go a million different directions in crafting their own salads. There truly is a plethora of options for every taste. I can only speak to my favorites: the roasted Chinese eggplant is tangy, sweet, and truly delightful. The roasted mushroom salad is deeply savory, its flavor pleasantly verging on bitter with a touch of salt. I find the Asian vinaigrette to be the perfect complement to the chopped romaine salad mix, and also recommend the tastefully mild tofu cubes as a textural foil. My salad and drink put together rang up to just under $20. That's pretty reasonable, and I don't mind splurging a little for such outstanding culinary variety. Overall, Beatrix Market is an unbeatable grab-and-go spot for anyone on lunch break in the Loop.

  We stopped by here before and after our visit to the Art Institute. Drinks and food are reasonably priced and food quality is very good. But, the most impressive thing is their lounge area downstairs. If you're visiting the Art Institute, walk past the Starbucks and give this place a try. You won't regret it.
