  Obbie's is now my new number 1. It nudged out Kim's Uncle, Fox's and Pat's. By far the best tavern style pie I have ever had. It's almost like there's a buttery flavor to the pizza. Hard to describe. It's so amazing. Can't recommend it enough.

  We haven't been to Obbie's in a while, but I have to say they did not disappoint. I ordered a thin crust sausage and a medium stuffed cheese. Both pizzas were very good, so I will return more often knowing that the new owners didn't change the recipes.

  The BEST Chicago pizza-hands down. Drive from Oak Lawn to pick up drive back and it’s not even hot and it’s STILL amazing. On the pricer side though. Large half sausage half cheese is almost $25.

  Pizza has been amazing for the past 15 years I been having it, always a nice treat to have for the family. But the young cashiers there now puts a bad taste in the food for their incompetence, waiting 10 mins to pick up a ready pizza because they’re too busy on their phone, overcharging by adding extra pizza that I didn’t order or receive. Happy to see they’re still in business and fixed the place up, but negligence and ignorance is not needed for a part time job. Just asking to pay attention to the basics of how to take an order.

  Been eating Obbies pizza since I was a kid. Very, very good!!! Glad the new owners kept the same recipe BUT to raise prices every 6 months and not offer any more coupons in the neighborhood paper is VERY GREEDY!!!!

  Living in the area for the past three years, passing by this place, and finally decided to try it. Upset I did not stop in sooner, a very Chicago tasting pizza with its own flavor, and really enjoyed the meatball sub, felt very homemade. Looking forward to trying more of what they offer.

  I’ve been going to Obbie’s for 30+ years and it’s always been the best. Not sure what’s going on now, but the last two times I’ve ordered my usual sausage and mushroom, it’s not the same. Something has definitely changed and not for the better. The cheese has a funky smell/taste and the sauce seems to be different. Not my go to pizza anymore.

  I only eat thin crust pizza and this is one of my favorite spots... my favorite is another spot but this is my wife’s favorite spot. Thin crust and usually crispy edges, the sauce is very tasty and on the sweeter side if you ask me. We get it with 2x’s sausage, garlic, gardinera, onions, and mushrooms. The in-laws love it as well.

  Hands down the best pizza from the southside to the northside, the sauce is perfection, crumbs on the bottom of the crust, cooked to perfection... my mouth is watering thinking of Obbie's.

  The title says it all, a lot of pizza choices in this area, but this is top spot, fresh ingredients, real mushrooms, sauce is good, crust is thin and crisp..chicken is good too..

  We hadn’t had their pizza in about 23 years, so we were excited to be able to place our pickup order. It was exactly as we expected it to be and remembered. Ready on time and delicious!!
