Best Groupon money I've ever spent! The Pat special personal pizza was totally delicious, more than enough for a single meal, and the house salad was VERY generously sized, with homemade balsamic dressing and amazingly crisp greens. I didn't get a chance to eat mine til the next day, and it sat out for hours the first day, but it was still crunchy and delicious! This is definitely a takeout place, but well worth the money.

Pat’s is, by far, our favorite pizza - probably in the city. We love thin crust, easy cheese, with whatever other toppings. We generally get our delivery before it’s promised. We’re loyal Pat’s customers for many, many years. We’ve been in the south loop / printers row neighborhood since 1984.

Been going here for lunch at least once a week. Food is always fresh. Service is always good. Prices aren't bad considering they are downtown Chicago, can get an 8 inch with 3+ toppings for less than 15$ which is great. Dining room is small only a very few tables but still better than nothing hands down. I like this spot and that's why im leaving this review. Excited to try other food here, I've only had the pizza but their menu is decent sized and they have lots of options, something for everyone..5 stars all around.

There are at least three Pat's Pizzerias located on Chicago's North Side. But there is only one Pat's Pizza that delivers the thinnest thin crust pizza in town. And they've been doing it since 1950. Located at 2679 North Lincoln Avenue, in the Lincoln Park and DePaul University communities, it is open from 4:30 to 10 Monday through Thursday, 4:30 to 11 on Friday, 1 to 11 on Saturday and 11 to 10 on Sunday. When we're talking thin crust pizza, Pat's reminds me of the paper-thin pizza I loved at the Jolly Roger in Urbana when I attended the University of Illinois in 1958-1962. It opened in 1955 so maybe owner Ray Timpone picked up his recipe from Pat's. Who knows? What I do know is the dough on Pat's pizza is proofed overnight, then put through a dough sheeter used to flatten pizza dough into large sheets to make a really thin crust. Then it is cured in a cooler for three days, laid between sheets of paper and put on a rack to dry out. One Chicago food critic compared Pat's pizza to "eating a salty cracker dipped in tomato sauce." The crust is topped from edge to edge with tomato sauce, cheese and crumbled fennel sausage before being baked to a crisp. After 75 years, they seem to know what they're doing.

Open from 4:30 to 10 Monday through Thursday, 4:30 to 11 on Friday, 1 to 11 on Saturday and 11 to 10 on Sunday, Pat's also features other varieties of pizza--tavern style, deep dish, taco, vegetarian, Hawaiian, BBQ chicken, meat lovers, even cheeseburger. My delivery favorites are a traditional sausage and cheese and a specialty pizza, a 16-inch thin crust with a blend of ricotta, parmesan, gorgonzola, mozzarella and garlic with pizza sauce. For dinner, I start with bruschetta with diced tomatoes tossed with olive oil and basil and served with lightly toasted bread and Caesar salad with Romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese and croutons. For an entree, the home-made lasagna is highly recommended, with pork, beef and layers of ricotta cheese baked in a zesty meat sauce. For dessert, what else? You can't beat a large portion of tiramisu. How many pizzerias have been in business for 75 years?

We have ordered for delivery twice-the pizza is great, no question but the delivery is simply awful. Both times we’re told one hour but after 1 hour 15 minutes we called and told six minutes. Called again given a credit but took two hours both times. Regardless of credits, NEVER ordering again!

It seems it took a friend who lives 800 miles away - in NJ - to let me know about the best thin crust pizza in my own town. I’ve been looking, but tended to find crusts that were too dry, crumbly, or thin & soggy, or just bad. Not Pat’s. I sat at a table outside & enjoyed a 312 shandy in the sun. The pizza was ready within a half hour. Because I couldn’t decide between Pat’s Special (sausage, mushrooms, green peppers & in my case, hold the onions) and the pesto chicken (with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes & artichoke hearts), I got half & half. And WOW! Chicago, we have lift off! The tomato sauce was reduced down to tangy tomato-y essence. The toppings were fresh and delicious, and the cheese plentiful and stringy - yum! The crust was thin and crisp - no sog or sag, it held all the toppings and didn’t get in their way. Mark, who took my order & brought my food out to me was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely return to Pat’s! After all, I’ve gotta try the baked clams, chicken piccata & ribs, too!

I stopped on my way through town and got a large deep dish house special. That’s onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and sausage. Never had it, didn’t do any research. 6 hours later I got home and reheated a slice in the air fryer and it’s tbh the best pizza I can remember having. The crust is excellent. And I love pizza. Even at Chicago prices, Pat’s special is well worth it if you’ve got $34 to spend on dinner. The box is nice and heavy, came with a free liter of cola too.
