We have been to several restaurants in Bologna and this one has us coming back again. The food is amazing, the menu has English along with Italian and the service is awesome. Sophia was our waitress along with a friendly waiter.

Nice place, seems local, not sure. Maybe the portions could be a little bit larger. The pasta was cold, but the Ragu sauce was hot, pizza did not have the basil on it.

We split pizza and pasta and both were PHENOMENAL. There was an option for the pizza we’d never seen before! “Grana Arso” flour used in the pizza crust. It was SO TASTY. Come to Bologna and visit La Verace!!

The food was delicious, no doubt about that. However, the service was disappointing. We were four people, we ordered three pizzas and one pasta. We ordered bruschetta as a starter, which arrived after about 30 minutes. After that, we waited another 30minutes for our main dishes, while other guests who ordered after us got their food within 15–20 minutes. When we asked why it was taking so long, we were told our order needed more time, but since we only ordered pizza and pasta like others customers, this explanation didn’t make much sense. The waiter didn’t feel friendly either.

My wife and I had dinner last night. Pizza to start shared was superb simple margaretta but perfectly cooked tasty and was fast. Main course was tagliatelle and home made pasta with basil. Really delicious. Service was very fast despite other review comments here

We came here for lunch on our first day of 6 to tour Emilia-Romagna region and returned on our last night to cap our experience. First to share is my spouse eats gluten free and this place's GF pizza is unreal! I mean for a non GF person

About 50 yards off the beaten track in the inner city, and an unpretentious atmosphere. We both absolutely loved out meals and our desserts. One of us is celiac, bit we both ate gluten free and wish we could have the gf tortellini shipped to Canada for us.
