Al Borgo truly impresses with its delicious dishes—the pizza is deliciously crispy, the pasta fresh and perfectly flavorful. You can clearly sense the genuine passion in the kitchen! 🍕🍝 It's just a shame the service is a bit too relaxed. The staff sometimes seems inattentive—it almost feels like they'd rather be in the kitchen than oversee the dining room. A little more smile and a more constant presence would make the experience perfect. Anyway, the excellent food is definitely worth a visit! With a little more attentive service, it would definitely be five stars.

Great experience! A place from another era, welcoming and charming, but a bit old-fashioned. In the summer, however, it must be wonderful to dine outside, within the medieval walls. The pizza is very good; it's not the super-soft Neapolitan dough, but it's still soft, not very thin, and almost whole wheat (probably because they use a special flour). I recommend the "pizza tour," so you can try several different pizzas. All four pizzas we tried were excellent: the simple marinara, well-seasoned and juicy; the modern Isolana with pistachio and lemon; the escarole and sausage; and the radicchio and speck. The service was friendly, if a bit slow; they were probably short on staff. I'd even say the prices were "from another era." Four pizzas (including three specialty pizzas), two 66-euro beers, one 1-liter Coke, one bottle of sparkling water, and three spirits: €12.50 per person. The pizza prices are particularly low. Highly recommended for trying several delicious pizzas in a quiet setting at a more than fair price. And for an interesting stroll through the medieval village of Molinara.

Since June 2022 the restaurant is managed by Donato and Rosalia, very young and prepared. I am a regular customer, but this is the first time I review Al Borgo because the end-of-year dinner was above my expectations (which were already high knowing the chef and Rosalia, and their way of seeing the kitchen), and that's why I address them directly: It was a real pleasure to end 2025 and start 2026 in your local! Congratulations to Donato: the menu was superb, refined, as was the raw material. And your embarrassed smile when you came to the room at the end of the service shows how much you care about your work! Congratulations to Rosalia: naturally delicate and elegant, excellent mistress of the room. The right continuation of the kitchen, but also excellent pastry chef! Good indeed, may it be a year full of satisfactions and new dishes! P.s.: I was commissioned to write this review by ALL the diners last night, so the compliments are multiple!Read more

Cozy place in a very quaint village, excellent pizza as well as grilled meat, but the fish dishes absolutely to avoid, both x the quality (done x fresh, but all frozen) and for the lack of originality and for cooking, grilled dried and almost burned fish, fried salted squid, and in addition high pricesRead more
