Sartoria Panatieri (Eixample)

C/ de Provença, 330, 08037 Barcelona, Spagna

50 Top Pizza#5

We came at Sartoria for lunch on a Sunday. We didn’t have any reservation and were told it was fully booked however they quickly offered us a table outside. The service from the start was fantastic - really welcoming. Our food arrived on time - long enough for us to enjoy the atmosphere but not too long. Their pizza was absolutely delicious. Everything was really fresh and super tasty. It was the best tasting Italian we have had in Barcelona. Highly highly recommend this spot. A must visit.

Sartoria Panatieri in Barcelona isn’t just a pizzeria—it’s a culinary gem, widely acclaimed as one of Europe’s top spots for pizza, tying for third in the 2025 50 Top Pizza Europe rankings, and even ranked among the world’s best at 20th globally in 2025. In a stylish, artisan vibe that fuses Italian heritage with Catalan ingredients, every pie tells a story of sustainability and flavor. I tried the chorizo pizza, a standout with its tangy sourdough crust, perfectly charred edges, premium smoky chorizo, creamy mozzarella, and a subtle kick of herbs—pure perfection at about €15. Short lines, warm service, and unbeatable quality make it a must-visit.

Sartoria Panatieri fully lives up to its reputation and is easily one of the best pizzerias in Barcelona. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the passion behind the place. The atmosphere is relaxed, modern, and authentic, with a strong focus on quality rather than trends. The pizza is outstanding. The dough is light, perfectly fermented, and cooked with great precision, resulting in a crust that is crispy on the outside and soft inside. Every ingredient tastes carefully selected and fresh, with a clear emphasis on local and seasonal products. Even the simplest pizzas are full of flavor, balanced, and never heavy. You can truly taste the difference compared to standard pizzerias. The menu is not overly large, which is a good sign, and every option feels well thought out. Toppings are creative without being excessive, and combinations work beautifully. The quality of the olive oil, cheese, and tomato sauce really stands out. Service is friendly, professional, and efficient, with staff happy to explain the menu and make recommendations. Prices are fair for the level of craftsmanship and ingredients. Overall, Sartoria Panatieri is a must visit for anyone who loves real pizza made with care, skill, and respect for tradition.

Loved the experience here, they really take care of you with excellent service that’s warm as well as very helpful. The wine of the day was a Chardonnay that I loved and we got a red that was suggested by the staff and was great as well. I got the celery cream pizza and it was very good. My girlfriend got the margherita which was excellent as well. The meat platter had a good mix of the familiar and new and we loved it. It came with a side of focaccia. Finished off with a very good tiramisu. Will be back to try more of their interesting pizza choices!

We went to this place, having previously learned about it from a blogger. To be honest, we expected a tastier pizza. We ordered a cheese pizza, but it was very wet, it felt like you were eating not pizza but just melted cheese, the taste of the dough was almost imperceptible, except for the sides. The broccoli pizza was drier and a little better. We can say that the pizza is not bad in general, but in London we tasted much tastier pizza, which did not have such awards. As for the service, everything was ordinary, and the staff looked at us all the time, which was unpleasant. so that we would eat faster. We did not reserve a table, so they sat us on the street. But even there we ate under the strain of the staff's gaze. In terms of prices, the pizza is not cheap, but considering the prices of food in our time, it is normal. Therefore, I can recommend this place, but do not count on something incredibly tasty. Reply to the owner. Thank you very much for the feedback, I will definitely take into account your recommendations for booking a table. And thank you for the detailed explanation about the types of cheeses and their cooking features.

Everything was perfect, we were enjoying the food and drinks, there was a kind Brazilian helper helping with the language, and suddenly a waiter, a bald man with a mustache, got upset and said that the other was a helper and I had to ask him. The end of the night, which was great, was ruined.Read more

We have already been several times to this one as well as the one in Gracia. We usually always order the classics, they are the most reliable. The sobrasada one is a 10/10 for me, with high-quality sobrasada, well-melted Mahón cheese with flavor and personality, the honey gives it a nice touch, and overall it is delicious, it is the one I like the most at the restaurant. And we also got the stracciatella and pesto one, you can tell the tomato is good quality, and the pizza in general was not dry at all, with its pesto and its stracciatella, spectacular. Great dough and fresh, high-quality ingredients without any pretense. I always leave quite happy.Read more

We ordered two pizzas cooked in the wood-fired oven. The result was disappointing. Very simple pizzas, not tasty at all. The dough was rubbery; it felt like you were chewing a piece of gum. We are lovers of good pizzas and good Italian cuisine. And in Barcelona there are. 2 and even 3 restaurants. far above Sartoria. We did not order dessert because we did not want to stay even one minute longer. The price/quality balance is disproportionate. But understandable seeing the excessive amount of staff, you have to pay salaries. "Dying of success" would be the appropriate expression.Read more
