  Great location, but disappointing meal. Limited cocktail options and premium spirits to choose from. Limited options for gluten-free and vegetarian diners. My wife's burger was undercooked and had to be sent back. The manager was gracious to comp our drinks. We may have gone on an off night, but it seemed as though the kitchen and waitstaff were having issues as several tables received wrong dishes or experienced long waits.

  Decent place for lunch and brunch with tasteful American South menu and Brooklyn neighborhood ambiance, including New York City price for burger and fries. Foods are flavorful with good use of ingredients, not overly salty or spiced. Relaxed ambiance of a neighborhood place which also means the services is more of leisurely pace, so do not expect a rush service here. Seats are plenty including upstairs but be prepared for the uncomfortable wooden and hard chairs. Great location, reasonable choice, in a place there aren't many good ones around, a rare situation in New York City.

  This restaurant had a special menu for new year's eve, which seemed attractive... the reality was far from the expectations! Bad tastes of the dishes, from an average starter, to an awful dessert, and through a rib-eye full of fat... Nice waiters, but a service way too quick-as if the goal was that we could leave as soon as possible.. All of that for a 450$ bill: way too expensive for such a bad experience!!

  Went here with 4 friends for dinner. We got there early and had drinks and oysters at the bar. The drinks were good but the oysters tasted and looked bad. The bartender Ferdia was knowledgeable and friendly and made great cocktails. Our dinner was not liked by any of us. The appetizers were tolerable- cheeses were okay and foie gras was tiny and had no flavor. - 2 ordered steak medium. Both came well done with a vegetable covering it that was extremely bitter and inedible. Another ordered the burger medium rare. Also this came well done and was thin. One ordered the duck which was the best meal at the table. This came medium rare as the waiter informed my friend it would. I guess the chef dictates how you want your meat! I ordered the halibut which was okay at best. The wine list was great along with the sommelier to help you chose. However the ONLY saving grace for our experience was Ferdia the bartender and our cocktails. Would not recommend this restaurant. There are others much better in this area. Don’t waste your money on this place!

  We came here last week for een quick lunch and we had a wonderful experience! The restaurant wasn't fully-booked and there were some tables empty, so not to crowded. The ingredient's were very fresh and tasteful, also very colorful! The wine list is incredible (but a bit pricy for an West-European).
